Pretty sure I have UTI! Anyone else this breastfeeding

im stressing so bad :( not only does it hurt so bad when I pee but I'm stressed about having to take antibiotics while nursing. Will I have to stop nursing. DS is only 5 weeks old. Anyone else go through this?

    Call your doctor and get on some antibiotics, lady! There are most definitely pregnancy and nursing safe antibiotics.  Just let the doc know you are nursing, and verify with the pharmacist that it's safe before taking it.  Antibiotics can contribute to possible thrush and eating yogurt can help with that.

    Yes. I had a Uti while bfing. I seem to be prone to those and always get one when first pregnant, and not only. Totally fine to take antibiotics during, just tell the doc your situation. Also, drink lots of water, cranberry juice, and if you have access, take cranberry extract supplements (Earth Fare).
