Hi! I'm not new, just back I'll post an intro in a bit. In the meantime I finally got a + today at 11 dpo!
I.Cant.Poop. I have tried a few over the counter things that are safe, and they are not working. It's like I ate paste, everything is just stuck and not moving. I don't need it softer, I need increased intestinal motility, and I need it now.
Anyone have any old wives tales, tricks, magic, spells, potions or advice? I am miserable! Its causing heartburn like crazy also. Sorry for the abrupt and gross topic.
Please Cross your fingers that I did not allow this to post on my Facebook wall.
Thanks ladies. This week has been brutal. This will be our second attempt at baby #3, and this has NEVER happened to me before. (Even on prescription iron!)
The coffee/ juice combo seemed to get some results today! Thanks so much for the responses! Hello to you all, and seriously thanks for taking the time!
I've normally has that problem but have been taking a probiotic supplement a day and that is working wonders! I also second the warm water with lemon first thing in the morning(before eating) it is super beneficial to the digestive system!
I have had this problem with both of my pregnancies. My doctor told me to add in more Magnesium. I bought an OTC supplement and added it and am back to pooping happily. Obviously speak with your doctor before adding in a supplement. But this worked amazing for me. No more stool softeners or laxatives. (Thank goodness!!)
Drink a cup of prune juice every day, it will get worse the farther along you get. I have the same problem and I drink prune juice a couple of times a week.
Re: I can't poop. Dead serious question.
