Babysitting Rates?

Hello, we're having a sitter watch our LO for the first time this weekend. The sitter said she doesn't have a rate, "just whatever we think is fair". Since this is our first time hiring a sitter, we're not sure what the going rate is these days. She is 13 years old and will be watching LO at her house with her parents home for a date night for me and DH. What would you say would be fair pay? TIA!

I have a little 13 year old watch DD for date nights. She also watches her at her house. She charges $5 an hour. A lot of teenage girls at our church charge $5-$10 an hour depending on how many kids they are watching.

$10 an hour and throw in some money for a pizza.
