New to the 2U2 group!

My husband and I just found out last Thursday that we are expecting #2!  This was something we have been hoping for but it was a BIG surprise!  We had to do IVF to get pregnant with our DS so we were thinking we would have to go back to that again for #2.  We did 2 IUIs last Spring and no luck, we took the summer off and no luck either.  My period never came back after I had it in early July so we decided to do one more round of IUI and then save up for IVF if that didn't work.  Well I did a blood test in early Sept and not pregnant, so then a week or so later I started birth control to get my estrogen level up before the IUI.  I finished my pills on Oct. 5th and period wasn't coming.  My doctor wanted to wait until I had pink since I was having some brown spotting but it wasn't coming.  I was to check in with him that Friday to decide if we were going to do the meds anyway or do meds to start my period.  Well on Thursday I realized I hadn't been feeling very well the couple days prior and told a friend that I knew I wasn't pregnant (still not believing we could do it on our own) but I really felt the same way I did during my first tri with my DS.  I figured I was just catching a bug.  I decided that morning I would do a cheap test I had at home right before I got in the shower.  I got out of the shower and sure enough BFP.  I did another one and BFP!  I showed my husband and he was in complete shock as well.  I did a blood test Thurs and my HCG level was at over 27,000 so he had me come in for a u/s yesterday.  I am 6 1/2 wks along!  We are extremely happy about this but shocked at the same time.  Our DS turned 1 at the end of Aug.
