@coleycannoli - I was thinking about you and hoping that you got some answers after you got that terrible rebuff from your dr's office. I hope you are feeling better in all sorts of ways.
This creepy internet hug's for you:
p.s. I would've sent this as a PM, but I am apparently a doofus and can't figure out how.

In loving memory of sweet baby HP, and all our angel babies. Forever in our hearts.
On Monday I went to my OB with a long list of written out questions and my DH with me. We had a pretty long talk about what I can expect for the rest of this pregnancy and how to get my birth plan implemented.
I won't say it went perfectly. I got my answers though and a prescription for a breast pump for my insurance. (which is funny cause it just says "1 breast pump, no refills"), which was good. But she still didn't own up to her office being flippant about my needs or about her remark that "depression won't hurt the baby." She's not the only OB so I plan to bring it up to the others in turn and see if they can tell me who will most likely be there at the birth.
I'm feeling better, overall. I have a doula now who is awesome and I think with her help and DH's I'll be alright. I'm still looking around for OB's but at least I'm more confident that I can get this to work out if I have to.
Thanks for the love! Hope you are doing well too!

Yay, so glad you got some answers and a little more clarity, even though she didn't own up to their crummy treatment of you. That's awesome that you got a doula - I'm envious!

I'm not super happy about her desmissiveness but it's comforting to know that there are 4 other doctors that i will have the chance to confront and I'll have some real backup from DH and my doula. I still love my hospital and luckily the nurses do 98% of the work anyway :P
