There are a bunch of things I really appreciated right after having my baby that I am already starting to take for granted again now, so I thought I'd take a moment to be thankful for them. Here are mine, what are yours?
- The ability to lie flat on my back
- Sleeping on my stomach
- Not peeing for hours at a time and then going a whole bunch all at once
Things I love: no more back pain! Eating a full meal vs. Two bits of said meal, being full, then being hungry again in an hour. Reaching my feet! Not being out of breath just getting off the couch.
Not checking my blood glucose 4x a day, being able to pound Mountain Dews and cinnamon dolce lattes and Riesling, not having a human foot under my rib cage, not peeing in a cup/on my hand every week at the doctor....and most importantly.....I am grateful for being able to see the tiny alien that was trying to kill me for 9 months!

All of these plus no heartburn and better sleep (although less sleep).
Also, I went down a tunnel slide with DS1 on my lap at the playground yesterday. Pretty sure I wouldn't have even fit in the tunnel with the belly, as if I could have even climbed up there when I was still pregnant. It was great being able to run around the playground and actually play with DS1.
pretty much everything everybody had said already lol Plus being able to paint my own toes, no longer having knees and elbows shoved in my ribs and internal organs.
Being able to take good meds again (for colds, headaches, etc.)
No heartburn.
Bending over.
No vomiting.
No waddling.
In reality, the ONLY thing I miss about being pregnant is that i didn't have to hide/worry about my chubby belly. Everything else about pregnancy sucked.
