Gender Neutral Nursery Colors?

I am sorry that this isn't really something craft but I thought I would post here any way, my daughter's nursery right now is pink and purple and I would like to paint the room so that it works for my daughter and a son if this happens to be, I want each child to have and accent wall and then the rest of the room use the two colors and alternate. Hoping to use just to colors. If you have any suggestions I would love to here them.

    I was thinking a lavender for my daughter and maybe a light green, but I am really not sure.

    I painted our gender neutral nursery a light turqoise and my fabrics had a moss green, light and dark turquoise, light orange, and gray. I added a pink throw with DD2.

    I did my nursery with gray walls and then Dr. Seuss fabric primary in red and white.
