Well, I've been reduced to a puddle of tears

I found this video incredibly moving. I wasn't wild about the portrayal of the first foster family, but I know that realistically that happens occasionally just like any other family. LOVED the ending. Makes me even more certain about FTA in my future one day. I did like the realistic portrayal about the difficulties- her behavior as a result of her past and the difficulty in understanding it. It is long- about 12 min, but well worth it. I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts on it.

Also, makes me even more at peace in my decision to place Adia. As much as I love her I could never have placed her in danger or allowed her to be in a home like that, but I know it still would not have been the home she deserves. I feel like no mother or father plans for their child's life to go that way, but it starts with one bad decision that puts your wants above their needs and I think creeps into something that bad.

Birthmom to A, 1/8- the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
