Hi ladies!
Good luck to those ladies cycling!!
((Hugs)) to everyone else who needs them!!
This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community
and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF,
adoption, etc.
A check-in will be posted every week. Please reply to the check-in
post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the
opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your
TTC.
Once you get pregnant please post about your first and second beta then move over to the pregnancy check in.
QOTW: Favorite guilty pleasure?
TTC, without meds, hoping for a wonderful "surprise!"
Jessylane8- 9/10-AF came yesterday so moving on to cycle #4.
MrsAmyDylan-9/17- We are on vacation at the beach in NC right now. I just got AF a few hours ago...awesome for beach vacation. I procrastinated making my appointment with the RE when we return, so I'm trying not to think about it and enjoy my vacation.
Richzep-9/17-I've been hesitating being on it because I don't want to admit we are officially trying (because then I'll go psycho crazy with temping, ovulation sticks, timing, etc). I keep telling myself if it happens, great. Otherwise, we will start our first FET in January. I've only done fresh cycles, so I'll have questions.
TTC, with treatments
Chiwifey-9/17
Today is CD 2 so now I have to test for my LH surge and then
start patches & ganirelix. With my next cycle, I'll start stims. Looking
like ER will be right on or around C's 2nd birthday. Guess we'll be spending it
in CO.
emwaiting – 6/18We
are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own.
Praying for that little miracle to happen. You know be one of those that
can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha I will be 6
wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on
it's own. If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test
to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period. Kinda
hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating. We had to do
IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so
time to save $$ again!
fullfhope –9/17- We
transferred two embryos last Sunday (the 14th)....blood test is on the 24th.
itsmevkb -8/20- We did the transfer last Monday of our one little frosty and everything went smoothly. Yesterday I tested and got a positive. I'm literally shaking typing that out. I'm scared. Scared of something going wrong, scared of having a crappy beta on Wednesday, scared of where in the world we're fitting another baby into our house, scared of just everything both good and bad.
JBDamonm-9/17- Nothing new here. AF showed up late last night- this morning.... Hoping to start my Lupron with this cycle.
Julie21613-9/17- Waiting for AF to show up over the next couple of days. Then will start BCP for 2 weeks....then go in for baseline. Getting anxious. Have not missed the anxiety of cycling one bit!
KDR19179-7/16 I haven't been on the bump in awhile because I have been busy with the twins and work, but we are in the process of going back for our single frozen embryo. We don't tell many people IRL when we are going through IVF cycles, so I would love to talk about it somewhere! CD day 1 was July 10, I saw the RE on Monday. I'm taking estradiol 2mg 3x daily. I go back on 7/21 for an ultrasound and blood draw. The embryo transfer is scheduled for 7/28. We only have 1 embryo left and it has about a 65% chance of surviving thaw. If it survives thaw, it has a 27-30% chance of pregnancy. I love swimming, but don't get to do it much. I never thought I would want a pool until we had kids. If we had a pool, I think I would swim every day in the Summer!
mnj05 – 9/17 Out of the 17 eggs they got, 10 were mature and all 10 fertilized. I got an update Monday (day 3) that all were looking great. I'll get another update today to see if there are any blasts to freeze. I'm super nervous about today's call. I'll update tonight. out of 10 embryos, 5 look like they will stall and 5 are growing. They will check again tomorrow and freeze if they can, nothing was able to be frozen today (day 5).
MoFree –9/17- My 3 surviving embryos had PGD performed and I should have the results next week. The waiting game is really getting to me and I'm finding this wait to be more stressful than the 2ww in my 1 fresh and 2 FET cycles.
Pam MG – 9/10-Got
our calendar to start IVF with testing in November! Just hanging out until then
praying for a miracle so I can get my money back.
Phishgirl29- 9/17- We are planning to FET this cycle! I go in for day 3 bloods tomorrow and fine out the rest of the plan then. Nervous and excited all the same!!
Pinkmickey24-9/17 Cycle 3 is underway. Going to sit down and chat with DH about when we should return to the RE. I want to cycle August/September again because a May/June baby if all works out is much nicer on a teacher's schedule, but I would be grateful for a baby at anytime in the year.
Racheyt0227-9/17 I am on Estrace. Monitoring 2X/week to check lining, etc. FET scheduled for Oct 4th.
Run20K-9/17- FET 1 appears to be a BFN. Bloodwork will confirm on Monday, and the we'll wait for my period next week to start BCPs hopefully for my final FET. Stressful! Also wanted to add that for the next FET, I'll spend a couple of days away from home because it's almost impossible to not pick up DD and rest post transfer!
trigirl79 – 9/17 Met with the RE Thurs which was also CD2. Started Clomid on Fri, going back on Thurs
ON A BREAK, hoping to get back in the game soon
Efhoping2010-9/17-We are definitely moving and FAR for DH's new job. But we will have actually have health benefits no more private insurance YAY. Hoping this includes some kind of IVF coverage, IVF medicine coverage, IVF pretesting, PESA coverage, something????? Praying we can have our ODWU IVF #4 pretesting after we move, so maybe November????
mg0202 -9/17
STL34-9/2 We had great timing last cycle. But, AF still showed. I am now CD9 on the next cycle. I had my second opinion RE appointment last Friday. This RE is willing to do the immune treatments that helped when TTC #1. But, they do batched cycles and I am hesitant to move forward with her alternative to BCPs or high estrogen doses to make my body cycle in the batch. Add on to it that we are pretty broke from our two previous IVF cycles and I'm not sure when/if we can move forward. When my husband is back in town from his work trip, we will have to discuss it.
Second opinion appointment is August 29!! I'm hoping things go well with this RE!!
Bellalou – 6/18 Aiming for a fresh cycle on the house in October.
Kaf7-9/2 Just back after 9 hours of travelling to and from our new RE. They didn't review our charts before we arrived and asked me for the Coles notes version. Doc thinks I should've been on long agonist protocol instead of 2 attempts at antagonist. Would recommend that ASAP as no one knows when I will hit menopause. Hadn't heard of gnrh pump and will send DH to a urologist...which honestly seems like a step backwards. She didn't have faith that we would get a pump or sperm again before my eggs are done for good. Doing IVF with this clinic is tempting for a chance at #2 but would cost us about $10K and I would have to take 3 weeks off of work since the clinic is 5h away...which means a significant loss of income when I still have to pay my secretary and office expenses during that time. Doc also suggested we try "Caliconcep.tions" because adoption is "impossible". We went in feeling happy with our current situation and hopeful, and after I think we both felt dejected. I am sort of wishing I hadn't made the appointment. Not sure what we will do next. Likely see what urologist says. And see if we can get our old clinic to comment on chances with long agonist protocol.....I don't know that I want to be back in this game.
