Gym Question

While I give my body and mind a chance to heal after my mc, I want to concentrate on eating healthy and exercising.  I have been taking 1-2 daily walks around the neighborhood since the mc (fur baby keeps me moving), but I want to get back in the gym.  When I go, I usually do aerobic classes like Zumba or Kickboxing.  

Has anyone else made it back into the gym after your loss?  If so, how long did you wait?  

I was thinking that 2 weeks would be a good amount of time to wait.

    I am not planning on stopping my exercise regime...if anything, I'm jumping back in at full speed. While I was pregnant I maintained almost the same routine, just stopped doing boot camp, but I started that back up on Friday before I even miscarried and did spin yesterday....I figure it could possibly help with my anger/disappointment. You know - get those good endorphins going. :)

    However, I am not sure of your story or how far along you were. So, I would just listen to your body and go from there. I also just want to say that I'm so sorry for your loss. <3

    I physically feel ok most days, but I have mostly been staying out of the gym to appease my DH.  He keeps telling me to take it easy.

    I'm ready to get back though to get the positive energy moving!

    I went back to the gym last night. I started bleeding last Monday. This is now 8 days. I know others have dealt with it longer, but I am starting to itch from the pads. At least now it is lighter (and brown, sorry tmi) where I can where a day pad as opposed to the heavy night ones. That is what I wore to the gym last night and I was ok.

    @flyoffeve, it looks like we are on the same timeline.  I started bleeding after the delivery last Sunday and went back to the gym last night.  I felt really good afterwards, so I will do my best to keep up the habit.

    I waited until after my two week follow up from my d&c, my doctor gave me the ok to do any type of exercise, even high intensity.  I went to my kick boxing classes and it really felt great to get back moving again after taking it easy for two weeks after the procedure.  I say go for it, it is good for your body and it will make you feel good!

    My doctor told me to wait 2 weeks - I've got 1 week to go and can't wait to get back to the gym. I think getting out the negative energy will be good and the endorphins can't hurt.
