Hair products..

I really never saw myself asking this, but DH actually commented on how DD's hair is sometimes frizzy and he was wondering if I should use some kind of conditioner.  She has naturally curly, beautiful hair but I guess now that it's getting longer, I can see what he means.  Right after a bath, she has Shirley Temple curls, but after a while it tends to look a little crazy.  I have just been using random baby shampoo people have bought me (Johnson and Johnson, California Baby, etc)..but I'm wondering now that our kids' hair is getting longer, what kinds of products do you use?

I just started trying this L'oreal kids strawberry shampoo for Sophia.  It smells yummy, and is still tearless- though honestly I'm not sure if it's better than her baby shampoos or not.  It is 2 in 1, though I know l'oreal kids has some separate conditioners too.

We use conditioner during bath, a no more tangles spray on non bath days, and occasionally a gel to keep it neat if it's humid outside.

I can recommend an adult product for curly hair, it's really good. Ouidad Tress Effects is great. Water soluble and very effective. I don't think it's any different than using a Loreal product, but don't quote me! I have very curly hair and it works well.

I would try something like a tiny bit of coconut oil.

We use Aveeno shampoo for Maya and Ethan. Not the combo shampoo and wash, but the creamy shampoo. I've also used a little conditioner on the ends of Maya's hair if it seems dry.

We use Paul Mitchell baby shampoo and spray in detanglee and follow up with a few drops of bio silk.

I'd definitely use a separate conditioner. I use Honest products on DD, but she doesn't have nearly as much hair. My hair is naturally curly, and I use Curls Rock products, but not sure you'd want that for a LO. Even a leave-in conditioner or detangler should smooth her locks a bit.

@RivaJam, do you use the regular Wen products (on yourself?)  I'm always so curious when I see the infomercials, but I imagine it would make my thin hair look stringy/greasy...

@pharmer78‌ I had a co-worker who swore by them. She had very thick hair but it never looked greasy.

@pharmer78 I really liked the Wen. We have well water and it doesn't work nearly as well as it did with the city water. I have curly medium thickness hair.
