Hi ladies!
My DS is 10 months and has been EBF. I am currently on an antibiotic (for 7 days) that I didn't feel comfortable nursing him on (L3 category risk) so I've been supplementing with formula. To try to keep my supply up, I've been pumping and dumping. However, when I pump I am getting very little - like an ounce or two each side at each session. I have pumped before and generally get 3-4 oz.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal for your supply to tank on medicine? I was really hoping to make the 1 year mark, so I am concerned my supply will not return after I finish the meds. Any tips on how to keep my supply going? Thanks in advance for your help!
