In L&D (chardonnay24)

For my induction. The hospital called at 9 with a bed and I got checked in around 10 pm. I'm 3 cm but cervix is still long so they started cervidil. I'm still crossing my fingers that my body will decide to go into labor spontaneously in the next 10ish hours and I can avoid the pit! Officially 42 weeks as of about 5 minutes ago so I'm really hoping that this is just the kick start that my body needs to get labor going.

I neglected to sign up for a labor buddy so I probably won't update much until baby girl gets here. :-)

ETA: Because I'm tired and words are hard.

Good luck! Cervidil definitely kick started my labor (though I still needed pit because I was starting from scratch -- no dilation at all). Hope everything goes smoothly!
