my mom is taking dd in two weeks for an overnight and my bff has offered to take dd2 the same night. Recall, dd2 doesn't sleep. Wth are dh and I going to do? I'm seriously debating getting a hotel room, is that a waste? I don't know if I'll have energy to do anything besides sleep, but it sounds kind of amazing. Drinks, dinner (take out at home/hotel or eat out??), sleep, do projects, see a movie?. I am so glad I have two weeks to figure this out I am seriously ready to cry joyful tears.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
Ha!! If it were us, we'd walk to dinner (if possible) and eat & drink more than we should, take dessert back to the hotel, take a nap, have sex, eat dessert and go back to bed. :x
Enjoy!!
We get a 3 day weekend away from the kiddos next weekend.
I would get a hotel, order in, get a bottles of wine, rent a movie and have sex and sleep.

I agree on the not staying at home thing. Even if it's just a hotel room in the city you live in, it's something different and exciting. Lots of places have pools or hot tubs to hang out at too which is a huge plus for me because I love hot tubs. Enjoy your kid free weekend!
ETA: Because I can't use the correct tense. Jeez louise I need to just go to bed.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
