Kidapillar?

Are any of you ladies familiar with Kidapillar? They started following me on Twitter today, so I decided to take a look. Seems interesting - the site connects families with local events, networking (play dates), etc. 

On that note, are there other, similar websites (national or ones with local chapters) that you moms use? I am very familiar with Bump Club, but that's about it. Figure I have some time before I need to start setting up play dates and activities.

I get updates from Macaroni Kid (https://national.macaronikid.com/), which looks similar. I'm also on the mailing lists for the local zoo, children's museum, and MyGym so I know whenever they have special kid's events.

Meetup.com has been great with my now 11month old. I found a local moms groupon there that posts activities and play dates (at places like libraries)

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm just exploring, but don't want to waste too much time on not-useful sites when you can offer tried-and-true recommendations!
