This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF/IVM or FET with an ER/ET scheduled for September. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle below.  Please include what cycle number this is for you, where you are in the process, when you expect to start stims, and when you're planning on retrieval and transfer.  (Also, please update us along the way!)

Hello ladies. Start off by saying how happy I am to see so many BFPs. They just keep on rolling in and that is such great news. I am patiently (or rather anxiously) waiting for my upcoming transfer this Monday (yippie). 

QOTD:  my favorite holiday changes over time. Right now it's Christmas as its a holiday we usually host for our family and I love having everyone over and cooking a great meal (well, the cooking part is best left to my husband!)

I will be 8dp3dt later today and feeling a little discouraged because I had some bleeding yesterday. I POAS this morning and it was BFN. Hopefully it's just too early.

QOTD: my favorite holiday is Christmas Eve because it's full of family traditions.

My beta came back at 156 yesterday! (9dp5dt) I should be going in Saturday for my second, but we are going on a road trip this weekend. I go back Monday and hopefully my number makes me feel a little more comfortable. I'm a nervous wreck!

QOTW: Definitely christmas. I love to shop for gifts, wrap presents, decorate, be with family, watch every christmas movie, listen to christmas music, etc. Plus I'm a December birthday so that makes me love the month even more!

Love hearing about all the exciting BFP's and praying I can be added to that list one day. Congrats to all you lovely ladies!

AFM, today is the 3rd day past my retrieval and I am anxiously waiting to hear from my RE's office to find out if we are having a 3 day or 5 day transfer. Today or Sunday!! She called and said that they are excellent quality embies and we are doing a 5 day transfer this Sunday!!! I am beyond thankful and so happy. Will call later to find out how many are still trucking along from the original dozen.

QOTD: My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving or Christmas/Hanukkah. It's hard to pick because I love spending time with the whole extended family together. The food is the best! But, I can really do without the SIL and GIL (grandmother in law, I think I made up a new acronym) drama this Christmas.

I just left my monitoring appointment. I have 5 follicles growing well. Today is day 6 of stims. Not bad for only having one ovary. I will probably be adding the Ganerelix this weekend. They are going to call me this afternoon with my estrogen level (because that worries me) and tell when to add Ganerelix for sure.

I LOVE Thanksgiving.  It has always been my favorite because it is all about family food and friends.  We always have two of them.  One earlier in the month with our friends where we deep fry a turkey and then the real Thanksgiving.

I am 4dp5dt today and still hoping to go beta or bust! Beta is on Wednesday. I have been super hungry lately (like waking up in the middle of the night starving!)... guess it's the progesterone.

AFM, 8dp5dt.  Still crampy but...I don't know.  It really does feel like AF is coming but I know that isn't always the case.  I'm not peeing on any sticks though.  I have to go to a party  tomorrow so I don't want it to ruin my day.  Then I have to work the next day.  So I might as well just wait for my beta on monday.  I haven't given up all hope yet.  I know I'm still in it.  I'm just being cautious I suppose.

Hey all!

I am 5dp5dt and starting to get annoyed! I slept an hour and 15 mins after turning off my morning edometrin alarm.. And now I don't have my usual morning "symptoms" so, I'm thinking safe to say those were progesterone related. I don't "feel" pregnant. When I'm having progesterone symptoms I live in a nice state of delusion though. Waiting for Beta on Tuesday. I think I'd deal with a bfn a lot better if my nurse delivers the news.

Also, does anyone know anything about what aspect the sperm plays genetically? As in, if DH has an issue with quality would that affect implantation or normal growth in anyway? I know we see a lot about egg quality affecting these things, curious if we know anything about the sperm's role. These are questions I'm asking my RE next time, but I can't find anything on it myself!

Qotd: Christmas!!! Although, it's different since leaving the north- I miss the snow. I just get filled with so much warmth and nostalgia throughout the entire winter season!

@ky29 congrats! Good luck to the ladies getting beta results today! @ChristieH917‌ your one ovary is kicking butt so far! AFM - had my ER yesterday and they got 11 eggs! Had 12 follicles in the game so I was thrilled with that. Got a call this morning and 9 fertilized! I will get an update tomorrow. The plan is to do a 3 day transfer on Sunday. Found out my clinic does AH for all cycles. Fingers crossed my eggs keep progressing! My biggest worry was the ER so I'm just so thankful it's done and it went smoothly. It's funny because as soon as you are relieved about one thing then you start worrying about the next! My favorite holiday is Christmas! I love decorating and baking and wrapping gifts and watching Lifetime Christmas movies LOL...so addictive! EDIT: good luck @tiffany0614 with your ER!

I'm holding on to hope for those with less than ideal POAS results. I know it's hard to remain hopeful, but sometimes there are surprises. FX.

I'm 2 days post retrieval.  I have 7 embryos hopefully growing.  My next update will come tomorrow, and I'm scheduled for transfer Monday.  Hope they keep on growing!  Very nervous but what can I do?

Started my progesterone last night and I'd like to report, that hurts like a mother.  I am not a wuss.  I had wisdom teeth removed with no sedation. I've broken multiple bones.  I tried to do egg retrieval with no sedation (they didn't go for that).  But that shot is killer.  

Qotd: Thanksgiving, I love the fall weather and I like to cook the huge meal, even though my mother in law always stresses me out.  She can't kill that holiday.

I want to share a deep apology to all the ladies here that I have been pretty bad about sending wishes and keeping up with everyone's progress. I don't want to come across as a selfish cyber bitc*. I love reading all of your posts and find so much support and inspiration in them. It's just the layout of The bump that makes it hard to read your post and write back efficiently….scrolling all the way down to write a reply is annoying and time consuming. And the app is much worse. Anyway…as you know I ramble but I wanted to please ask to be a true part of the group sharing and giving.

@ChristieH917 Only one ovary? Oh my! You are doing very well. FX for continued growth and healthy eggs development for you. I love your idea of having two Thankskgivings…might steal it.

@siempre595 I'm sorry to hear how bad your progesterone shots are hurting..especially for a tough cookie. One thing I learned about pain (when I developed RA 13 years ago), 1) what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and 2) tolerance for pain can change as we need it to. You've got this. Focus on the end goal.

@gnl42 GL on your ultrasound! Very exciting!

@bears1011 "..as soon as you are relieved about one thing then you start worrying about the next" SO TRUE! I feel the same way. GL on your Sunday transfer! We will be transfer buddies. I'm having mine on Sunday too.

@meld42 I've always heard that if the sperm is able to fertilize the egg, he did his job. End of story.

AFM, I just got back from my monitoring appointment (day 8 of stims) and I currently have 37 that are 11+. Lining was at 10mm. I'm waiting for a call from the nurse with my estradiol level and instructions for tonight. This morning she said that we will probably hold off on any meds for tonight and come back in tomorrow, trigger tomorrow night and have ER on Monday. It can't come soon enough as I'm really really uncomfortable. I've been chugging powerade and smartwater hoping to avoid OHSS.

QOTD: Christmas is my favorite holiday. Lots of time with family and friends plus good food, what could be better?

Hello you lovely sweet peas!! My RE called and guess who hasn't ovulated yet?? This girl right here!! I think I'm
Cd something in the 30's now. wtf is the hold up? Sooo I go back on Monday for bloodwork and a sono (I got 10$ that it's a cyst) and to come up with a plan with my re. Another set back. Woomp woomp. Lol.

I'm looking forward to seeing some more updates from you ladies and loved the ones already. If it weren't for this group my waiting would be tourture!!! :x

Eta: damn QOTD lol!! I love Halloween because we always have a Halloween party. I deck the heck out of my house for it. Second is Christmas I love decorating and seeing family. Third is saint pattys day!! I am Irish so need I say more?? Lol. I can pick 3 right?? Lol!!

My update: I am officially post transfer!  We transferred two 5 day blasts yesterday.  They were both hatching ("can't get any better than that" the doctors said), so I am optimistic.  Test day isn't until 9/29, so it will be a long wait.

Such a great month for so many; I'm thrilled to read of all the successes. 

I'm on FET #2 and my estrodial level has been wonky, up over 1000 then down to 294, so my doc added the estrogen patch as additional support every other day.

Thawing all 6 early day 5 embies and watching them grow for a little less than a day before transferring the best one on Tuesday. I'm definitely more stressed this cycle after the chemical pregnancy last cycle. The waiting is so hard.

QOTD: I love Christmas but also love New Year's eve and day. I started a tradition years ago of doing my favorite the first and last day of every year as a way to remind myself to do what makes me happy, which is skiing. Hoping I won't be able to this year

QOTW: Can I vote none? My mom died right before Christmas and I've struggled every year to really celebrate. I like the 4th for the pool parties. I like Thanksgiving because of the food. I'm just not a big holiday person.

I'm sitting here at 4dp5dt going crazy about whether to POAS. I told myself I would wait until 7dp5dt. I only transferred one morula, and I wanted to give my slow-growing embie lots of time before I started trying to test... but I'm getting a little anxious and I kind of want to start testing. My spouse wants me to wait until 9dp5dt, but I don't think I'll last that long. Does anyone have a view on how long one should wait when only a morula was transferred? My beta's not until Sept 29 (cruel and unusual punishment indeed).
