Twins/sibs- how complimentary?

I'm not a fan of matchy names or theme names, but I do like complimentary. We're looking for two boys names for our twins. So far we have a lot of names with English/welsh/Irish/Scottish (let's call them "UK") origins, and some Latin and German. Would you stick with "UK names" for both, or can you have a UK name with a German name? Also, how similar or complimentary should the meanings be? For example, would you pair a very literal/occupation name like Hunter or Rider with something less literal like say Malin which means strong little warrior?FTR DH doesn't like literal names, especially the examples I gave so we won't be using those. I'm just wondering what your "rules" are for complimentary names. DD is Amelia which is German for strong and industrious.

I think Hunter and Rider is too much. It's like Walker and Texas Ranger.

I would just pick out names you like. It doesn't matter what origin or meaning.

No we wouldn't pair two occupation names, I'm just wondering how similar the meaning should be. And the Owen and Conrad example are the types of names we are talking about; not strongly German or Gaelic names. So I guess the concensus for "complimentary" is "sounds good together" and nobody puts that much thought into origin and meaning. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I'm thinking most people don't even know the origin of a name and nobody is going to be like, Why would you ever give your kids names from two different origins, are you effing crazy?! My oldest sister's name is Italian, my next sister's name is American, my brother's is English, and mine is German. Our names sound just fine together and nobody has ever commented on it...
