I'm Canadian. And I don't like maple syrup/think it's gross.
(I'm also with @Bookshelves. I got a Costco membership just a couple weeks ago. I went once. Didn't buy anything. And the employees didn't actually look happy where I went).
I have to go to Sam's for work, and I freaking hate it. The entire experience is annoying. I get why restaurants benefit from going, or maybe people like the Duggars. But why does one person need a 12 gallon container of mayonnaise?
Costco haters - they have great prices on formula!
But I agree, it's not any better than Sams club. I have a Costco membership because Costco is the most convenient warehouse store.
ETA: I know that not everyone is formula feeding. But formula is my #1 reason for going there lately.
BUT they don't have the formula i Buy!!! (or at least I couldn't find it.), This was one of the main reasons why I got the membership! Assuming they'd have our formula.
I think rompers on anyone over the age of 4 look ridiculous.
@Codypup I like them. I haven't worn one yet because I think they're so hard to pull off, but when I see hot models like Padma Lakshi wearing them I want to wear one so bad!

How do you pee though? Do you pull the whole thing down? Are there crotch snaps? Just wear Depends? I need easy access in case of emergency.

On this topic....I hate real maple syrup, but give me all the fake shiznit.
I like carpet in houses. Especially bedrooms, but I don't mind it in living rooms either.
Same. I would rather vacuum than sweep and mop any day, and I'd like to be able to let Logan sit by himself without worrying that he'll fall over and conk himself on the hardwood (well, laminate, in our case...)
I like watching the games, but I'm loving that the players are now realizing that they aren't above the law, and that the nfl is now accepting that abuse against women should be punished AT LEAST as much as abuse against dogs. But seriously, what took so long?
------------------------------------- They are only punishing the players who have abused women because the league was caught with mud on their hands. That Ray Rice incident happened months ago. Godell knew about it, and did nothing. Not that it's out in public they are addressing it because of the outcry. Not because it's the right thing to do.
It's gross, actually. I give them zero credit. Godell should be fired along with every single offending player.
Probably pretty UO -- I feel like the "weird names" threads always end up having a racial undercurrent that makes me uncomfortable.
I feel this way, too. I work in a school where there are over 70 different languages spoken. We have so many different names, and at the beginning of the year I usually can't pronounce most of them. It's not because their parents gave them weird names. It's because of their culture and where their family comes from. I can't judge someone for naming their child based on their culture.
Not sure how unpopular this is, though it definitely is an UO among my group of friends.
I see this on pinterest and facebook a lot, and my friends seem to say it a lot, but it bothers me to hear (or read) "Good moms have sticky floor, messy kitchens, laundry piles, dirty ovens, and happy kids".
So, I have to pick? Happy kids or clean house? No! My house is mostly picked up and clean all the time, and my kids are still happy and know that I love them. This means that I don't spend every waking moment playing with them, but it also doesn't mean that I spend every waking moment cleaning. In fact, DS really likes to help me clean up. I'd rather not have my kids playing on sticky floors and maneuvering around laundry piles, kwim?

AHHH MIND TWIN.
I completely agree with you. I've been trying to figure out why that thread made me feel uncomfortable, and I think you just nailed the main reason.
I also immediately thought about my own unique name choice for my daughter, and imagined people making fun of her. Like one of her teachers coming onto a forum and saying "I have a student named WILLA, what in the hell were her parents thinking?"
That being said, I don't think anyone meant any harm in the thread. Some of those names were interesting and notable. But it's something to think about.

@bookshelves - ETA to say I agree totally. And everyone always knows their brother's friend's wife who taught someone named Shithead.

Oh, i wasn't meaning it to be that way! I'm sorry!
I know you didn't @Avswolf! I know there was no harm meant on your part! Some people started posting names from other cultures, though, as "strange" names, when really they are just cultural names. In another country, my name might be weird even though it is a super common name here.
Re: UO!!!
1. I will not drink a pumpkin flavored beverage at all. I think pumpkin flavored coffee is gross.
2. I just turned 30. Everyone made a big deal about it. I don't feel any different than I did 10 days ago. I don't think it's a big deal.
3. I think people who say Obama is the worst president ever are wrong.
