My 6 month old has been crying for days. He gets up every 2-3 hours at night, cries, then fights us to go back to sleep. He has only eaten about 9 oz all day, and has only worn 2 diapers all day long, neither of which were full. He had a fever the other night, but hasn't really spiked one since. I have tried everything to make him relax and nothing helps. Warm baths, teething tablets, motrin for pain, literally nothing makes him happy. Besides my obvious frustration and exhaustion, I'm stressed out over what's going on with him.  he has always been a crier, but this is excessive, even for him.

and he pretty much refuses to nap.

Ear infection? 

I would probably bring him in to have him checked out if he's not having sufficient diapers, not eating and is inconsolable.

I would call the Pedi. if he's not making wet diapers he could be dehydrated. don't freak out yet. go and see what they say first.
