So LO woke up with a slight fever about two days ago. He ate fine that day, but for the past two days he has been on hunger strike. He has had no fever since that first day and his energy level is pretty good but he is only taking some fruit and water. I have tried giving him some nutritious smoothies, home-made tasty stuff in pouches besides his regular favorites
and he just spits it out. I am guessing he is teething because he is
drooling like crazy and putting his hand in his mouth, but he has lots of teeth already and has never done this before. We have a pedi's appointment on Friday but I am having moments of panic thinking this is going to be our new normal. Has any one else dealt with this lately? How long did it last? Let me know if you have any tips.
@tricia560, I think we do have a canine coming in, so maybe canines are the worst, though we haven't had molars yet, ugh. It is kind of shocking to me how much these little creatures suffer from teething.
@difazette, yes, my LO has had an almost total personality transformation too, someome commented in the store that he looked sad. My parents are coming tomorrow for a visit. They only see him every few months so I hope he is better by then.
