Me: What is the cyst on my left ovary?
Score for me! Okay - trying to find the humor in this very irritating discovery. I guessed I may have a cyst based on my abdominal discomfort over the last few weeks which made me have to pee all the time.
I had problems with cysts before seeing the RE the first time (back in 2009). But BCP seemed to keep them at bay. It appears that doing all the right things with my health - losing weight and getting PCOS somewhat under control - caused a shift in my hormones which probably requires a different BCP. So - voila - a cyst. I'm out for this cycle.
Waiting on a call back from RE after they look at my bloodwork to decide plan of action for shrinking this thing and getting back on track.
(Big, exhausted sigh)

BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

TTC #2 since 1/1/13
TTC#1 May 2009- July 2010 on our own with no luck
Started with RE in August 2010, dx with unexplained IF and then finally our 3rd IUI cycle using Follistim and Trigger resulted in our wonderful little man. Born 12/2/11
TTC#2 Never really prevented, but were careful early on as Dr. reccomended
Surprise BFP 12/16/13, started progesterone immediately as first numbers came back low, but betas were good. Progesterone wasnt enough. Natural MC 12/24/13.
Back with RE as of January 2014...
