I set up a 529 account that has a "gifting page." I sent it to one person and now I feel like one of the online beggars that I flamed, what was it, just last week?
We went to an indoor playspace last weekend and I was playing with a magnetic maze puzzle. I was almost done and this two year old little girl comes running out of nowhere grabs it and says "mine"! I looked at her right in the eye and said "I don't think so". She looked stunned and walked away. I don't know where her parents were but I don't think she is told no often. I'm kind of proud of myself for standing up to her pushiness.

I'm debating not inviting my brother to the first birthday party. His kid is kind of a brat and his wife is kind of annoying and he is rude to my inlaws. I just want a fun, relaxing celebration of my baby. No drama or screaming kids unless it's from my own.
My mom will flip if he isn't invited to I'm tempted to leave her out of it too.
My friends and I are assholes and like to make a really bad taste joke thread via text messages on 9/11 to laugh a little. It has helped us all cope for the day. Just stuff like "safe flying" and "oh shit I forgot" stupid stupid shit. It was been a little bit of a tradition for the past 3 years. Well one of the guys on the thread was friends with the journalist that was most recently killed by ISIS.
Yep...we are assholes and feel really bad now.
He has been very shaken up by it, it has hit the Jewish community very hard down here. So he didn't find it very funny and read us the riot act.

I didn't invite an aunt. She tried to arrange a boycott to my shower in retaliation for not agreeing with my relationship with my mother (strained at best). My mother flipped, but IDGAF.
I ate a Twinkie for breakfast. So I guess my bigger confession is I bought twinkies. Hopefully @Amjoy25 can see past this great offense and still be my drinking partner.
I think @beernifer had a good chance of me finding her bad 9/11 jokes appropriate because as an ER nurse you see so much death and sadness that making jokes makes it easier to handle the day...until you get home to drown your sorrows in alcohol...buuuuuttttt, nope. Fail beernifer. Fail. 9/11 is never funny and I can't even imagine a joke that would be appropriate or funny in regards to that day.
