Sexy Time

Ok ladies! I am nearly 5 weeks. Still very early but I know I am carrying a little one! I have never been so tired in my life! I am completely drained of energy. This I understand is completely normal. What I don't know is; my sex drive (TMI!) it's been nearly 3 weeks since my husband and I have last had sex. I just have absolutely no desire. At all. I come home after work. Clean up and maybe cook dinner, unless we decide we want take out (note to self: eat healthier!) and find my pregnant self in bed by 8:30 if not sooner. I have no desire for sex. I hate it. I feel like a bad wife.

Is this normal?? I've read different things. What is your input?!

    Everyone is different.

Also sex...is normal, natural, and well....makes babies so kind of important.

I lost my sex drive somewhere around 8 weeks pregnant and am just now getting it back at over 5 months PP.

Some women lose their sex drive throughout their entire pregnancy, some get it back in 2nd tri, some women never lose it and some go into overdrive. Everyone is different and it's all normal.

Feeling like a bad wife because you're tired and don't feel like having sex is absurd. If your husband has an issue with it that makes him a bad husband, not the other way around.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

I have taken many tests any they have all been positive! Yay!!!

My husband says he is completely fine by it. That I'm giving him a baby and we are both ecstatic. We just went from all the time to absolutely none at all.

Thanks for all the input so far! Hopefully I will eventually get that drive back!
