Ganirelix

Hello Ladies,
I have started stims last Friday - day 2 (Gonal F and Menopur) and today I went for my second monitoring and the doctor said to add Ganirelix. I was reading that usually they start this on day 6, anyone had a similar experience? I am just a little worried why they have asked me to start ganirelix sooner..
TIA

Hi - I started Gonal-f only. They then added both menopur and cetrotide on stim day 4. Cetrotide is my version of ganirelix. I wouldn't worry if I were you. Hope this helps.

I started Ganirelix on Day 14 last time. I would trust in your doctors, but don't be afraid to make him/her repeat things so you can write it down. I started using my phone to record the conversations. This way, I can play it back later in case I was confused.
