What to expect from first appointment?

Hey ladies!
I have my first MFM appointment on Thursday. I will be 17 weeks with twins. What should I expect? I don't think this appointment is for my anatomy scan, so what will they do? Will I have an ultrasound?

    It depends on how the practices are set up and how your OB and MFM interact w one another. Did your OB go over your plan for prenatal care? That's when we hashed out the where, what, and how often questions.

    My MFM appointments consist of an ultrasound, he goes over any testing options that may be of interest, measures my cervix, and answers any questions I might have.  The reports and images are also sent to my OBGYN.   I love going to the MFM because I get to see my babies... at my OBGYN I only get to hear them!

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!
