I narrowed down my list to 2 doulas. My husband and I met both and liked both of them equally. They both provided the same thing, same price, same experience levels, same everything. We clicked and felt comfortable with both of them. I guess the only difference between the two doulas is that one is younger, around my age and the other is older, around my moms age. What would you prefer as a doula: peer or matronly and why? Sure, we can toss a coin, but since this is the person I'll remember being with me during the delivery of my first, I want to leave it to more than just chance.
An older doula makes me assume shes been doing it longer and has more experience? Does either one have more experience or specifically less interventions?
