Our anniversary is Sunday. Husband wanted to do a fancy dinner and made reservations while I was gone this week but he thought taking V was fine since we have taken him to many other nice restaurants and it was around his bedtime...so he may just sleep. The place was gorgeous...we were there about 3 years ago. Perfect menu. V was being a little difficult but I gave him some goldfish...which he never eats to occupy him. He ate them and a little of my food and a pouch and then I gave him a bottle with milk hoping we enjoy our next two courses while he slept. He rested for a few minutes but was just uncomfortable. I picked him up and sat in my chair. He vomited the largest quantity of goldfish, pouch, milk I have ever seen. This was the quantity of an adult level vomit. In my hair, down my shirt, on my pants and a huge pile on the floor. I did not make a single noise but picked him up and went to the car. I was caked in vomit. We won't take him to dinner again for awhile. Courses 4-5 were sent home with us at least.
So when I hold G on my left side, he wraps his arm around me. About a month ago he started pinching my arm in the back where the flabby stuff is and now I have a big blue bruise from it! Ouch! Little turd
Storming woke all the kids up early. Before I could pack us. They are crabby. I have no interest to sit in traffic to get to the lake at this moment. I couldn't sleep last night so I'm also very tired. Naps for all?
@lancomechica OH NO! That sounds awful! Hope you still were able to enjoy your anniversary. At least it was memorable! This is a story you can save for when V is older!
My 3 year old has peed in his bed every morning this week. I am so over doing laundry every day!!! He started sleeping in underwear instead of pull-ups a coupe months ago and has done well for the most part. This week must be a regression or he's in a funk or something. Whatever it is, stop the peeing!!! Uggg!
I'm excited about the 3 day weekend! We have no plans and I'm so glad to have some time to just relax and hang out! Anyone have fun plans?

Any symptoms during the day? Maybe something to look out for....I hated the transition at night to underwear, it's a lot of laundry when they have an accident.....
Allison woke up crying and hungry at 545, ugh. She had a fall the other day and ripped her frenulum....so.much.blood. It was awful. My older daughter did hers at about the same age, it's scary. Then last night she reopened it and it started bleeding again! Hopefully it will be a bit better today......

DD has been on a food strike the last few days. I think she's teething... She had a fever with no other symptoms on Thursday and just hasn't been herself since.
Last night my parents babysat for the first time since we moved and we got to go out which was fun.
@KKinATX sorry bout the cleanup. I know of what you speak.
We are about to go on a family hike. I feel awful, but the forecast is gorgeous today less so tomorrow and I fear we will not get out if not today. DH will be carrying A. I will be hauling Kleenex and chasing S.
@collers4 I'm right there with ya. I just put him in bed with me. He's been waking up around 2:30 but rolls around and goes back to sleep but at his 5:30 wake up, I put him in bed with me because getting him back in the crib is hopeless.

A blue jay flew into our kitchen window this morning and died. If that wasn't bad enough, we haven't taken it off the deck yet because there has been another blue jay sitting next to it for over an hour just staring at it. (
On a not so depressing note, my kid suddenly thinks it's awesome to dump milk out of his sippy then lick it off the floor. I'm so glad we have tile/wood floors!

A few weeks ago, I posted about being on a walk and a bike-riding couple stopping to make a sarcastic comment about Jack being too young to run ahead (he was still on the path where I could see but ahead of us picking "treasures.)
Same couple rode by us on our walk this morning to the park and gave me A Look when they saw we had stopped to let Brynne play in a puddle.

And then we wonder why kids aren't allowed to be kids anymore!! People are rude....
I can't remember if I posted earlier or not but happy Saturday all. Our friends were supposed to come over, see our place, go to lunch and chill at the beach. They cancelled 2.5 hours before. Hmmm.
Really no biggie I just hope all is ok. I made 2 batches of brownies that I'll gladly take care of myself. Yum
I'm trying to resist the urge to consult dr.Google. I bruise so easily. It's getting a little ridiculous. I have well over 50 bruises on me right now. I just noticed a giant almost black bruise on the back of my leg. I don't even remember that happening, and it wasn't there this morning. I should remember something that would cause that bruise. I'm really trying to convince myself I'm not dying.
You should call the doctor first thing Monday morning.
