Birth control

I'm going to be getting the Implanon (birth control that's inserted in the arm). I'm 2 weeks postpartum. Does anyone know how long it takes to start working?

I would probably go with what your doctor says on this one.  Might be worth googling, Implanon Failures, though to just see what that kind of situation looks like.

I would ask your doctor, I'm not sure, bit I feel like you'd have to wait another month anyways to have sex, right?

I've always felt way more comfortable with waiting a month no matter what my doctor said about any birth control. Better safe than sorry.
