No Pregnant Symptoms?/ Intro

Hey Ladies! Joining the 5/15 and really excited to be here. I will be posting in both this board and PGAL board. (Hope that is alright) My last two pregnancys I was miserable and sick the whole time.
It's early in the pregnancy but I'm not sick yet and I know every pregnancy is different. Hoping this one I am not miserable!

Just curious....are any of you guys symptom free so far?

  • Congrats and welcome! I haven't had much in the way of symptoms either - I had some light cramping for a few days after my positive test, and that has gone away. My breasts have been slightly sore off and on. Other than that, I haven't really felt much different.
  • Welcome. I don't have many symptoms either. Increased cm and that's about it. I never felt sick with my other pregnancies until about 5 and a half to 6 weeks. I'm trying to enjoy this next week incase symptoms come full force!

  • So sorry for you previous loss, but congrats on this LO!

I started with heartburn, exactly like with DS. I have some nausea, but mostly just have to keep eating. Some cramping started today, but I'm thinking I haven't had enough water. Oh, and sore nipples, but I'm also still nursing DS, so that sort of amplifies that.

It is really pretty early for many symptoms. Most don't get them until 6 weeks or so. And, they have no correlation to how pregnancy is going, so try not to focus on that.

  • Congrats and welcome!!

At 9 dpo I knew I was pregnant before I got my BFP with my son. My boobs were sore and I was so dizzy. It lasted a day or two. With this pregnancy my boobs are fine (for now) and I have lightheadedness and cramping from time to time. I do remember with my son that the nausea started around 6-7 weeks. I wish I can skip past the first trimester :(

  • Congrats! I have very few symptoms except for exhaustion...that could just be life with a toddler and less caffeine though.

  • Yep, add me to the list of few symptoms. I have been pretty tired at night, but depends on the day...tummy aches here and there. Sometimes a bit dizzy but that's it. I had cramping from my day of BFP (8/20) until maybe 8/24 but that has pretty much disappeared.

Just now I'm starting to get a headache, which I do not care for!

Love this thread. I am FREAKING out over lack of symptoms. The only consistent is cramping, which has been going on since my egg transfer off and on.  But cramping makes you think period which makes you think bad thoughts and so bad thoughts are running wild in my mind right now.  No amount of convincing or Googling is making me feel better.  I guess after infertility I just want to start puking.  Can that start soon?  :(

@LO95 I am not having much symptoms either.  The odd cramp here and there.  I have started to feel some fatigue and lightheadedness but not too bad.  This is my 2nd pregnancy but I can't remember how I felt this early.  Is this your first pregnancy?  I see you've been through quite a bit the past few months with your IVF journey.  I don't have any experience with that, but I think it's incredible what you girls go through.  Both my sisters went through IVF.

With my DS, at around 6 weeks was when I started to feel nauseous.  I puked once at 7w3d.  After that it was only nausea thank goodness.  I hope this one spares me from praying to the porcelain God.  The upcoming fatigue is pretty brutal and the headaches suck.  I don't know how I am going to do this with a toddler.

Hang in there, the cramping is normal.  The 2nd trimester is much better.

  • So far just the usual- tired and sore boobs, and some very minor cramping. I would assume AF would be showing up soon if I didn't know better!

It is very very common to have a complete lack of symptoms early on. With DD I had sore boobs, then nothing at all for a few weeks, then BAM. HG. Hoping to skip that this time!

  • Welcome! I've had some symptoms I guess, my breasts are tender and I am getting some fatigue. The most troubling one is the cramping, it's minor and sometimes feels like a slight burning sensation. I am trying to think of the cramps as growing pains, I've had them for 3 days now and hope they go away soon!

  • Welcome and congrats!

I had very few symptoms last pregnancy (mostly just fatigue!), and this one seems to be going about the same way -- I'm thirstier than usual and my nipples are getting a little sensitive, and I think I'm a little bloated, but it's all stuff I have to be watching for and paying attention to to notice it, lol.

  • Congrats and welcome! The only symptom I've had so far is being very thirsty/having a sore throat when I go a while without water. I had the same thing with my last pregnancy. The nausea and such didn't really kick in until around 6 or so weeks and then lasted until about 17 weeks. As others have said, it's completely normal and there will be plenty of time to feel yucky :)
