I'm saying on time, +/-3 days. I would prefer him to come no later because it will throw off so many things with work, but at the same time, I don't want to be induced if I go past my due date
Dh was born on his due date. So I'm thinking maybe two days early so Oct 1st. My husband is guessing oct 6 the which would be 3 days late. Isn't it common for your second child to come sooner than your first?
DD was due Dec 24, and my water broke and she was born on Dec 7. So since I'm due Oct 24, I have always thought this baby might come Oct 7. Ideally he/she will wait till at least 39 weeks so that I don't have to go back to work till January.
I'm due 10/28. The 17th has been in my head since very early on. No idea why. DD was normal sized and came a week early. This one measures a week early so I feel like I could go 1-2 weeks early with him.
But to be honest, with the way I feel, I've been so scared he's going to be really early. My body feels like it did just a few days before delivery with DD. And I have 9 weeks to go! It freaks me out.
This is me too...I could have 8 weeks left but I just feel like I should be done now!
DS1 was 2 days late, DS2 was 6 days late, so I'm guessing DD will probably be a few days late. I'm due October 1st & my hunch is October 4th. BUT I also keep feeling like she is going to surprise me and come at 38 weeks, so ~September 17th.
I think early. My first two were both 2 days late and I was induced with both and had a c-section with my second. I have a rcs scheduled for the day before my due date and nothing in my life ever goes as planned so I think I will go into labor early just because I have delivery planned.
I was originally hoping she would be 4 days late: born on the 12th since that was my grandfather's b day and he died during our last IVF cycle. We got our BFP the day after his funeral. But since the GD diagnosis, I have been informed we will not be allowedto go over 40 weeks and possibly ccloser to 39. I'm just hoping I can keep her in until the 3-6th at least...
I've been saying 10/7 all along as my due date. The doctor tells me 10/5, but I still have a feeling about 10/7 and since they're so close together I'm sticking with it, lol!

Nope! Not common from my own experience and not common from lots and lots of other stories I've read and heard!
Since I have preexisting diabetes, I'm going to be scheduled for an early induction. My hope is that I can talk them into scheduling it for 39 weeks so that there is a better chance that I'm closer to going into labor on my own. Ideally, the boy will surpise me a day or two earlier than the scheduled induction so that I won't have to have the synthetic hormones.
I think LO will come right about on time give or take a few days. With DD I was so anxious for her arrival, this time I'm more than happy to hit 40 weeks since I know the chaos that will come with 2U2
I feel like this baby is going to come sooner than my first, who was born 6 days past her EDD. I just feel like my body started doing things so much quicker this time to prepare for labor that didn't happen until the very end with my first pregnancy.
@tarraberra that's our anniversary too! The EDD is 10/24. I've been thinking she might come a little early since she's been measuring big at her appointments and my mom went early with her pregnancies. But, I want her to stay in until after our anniversary on 10/16.
But most of all, I'm just hoping for an October baby. If she stays in past 10/31 (41w) that will be so hard mentally!
Me: 30 H: 30, Married Since 10/2010, TTC #1 in 12/2013, BFP 2/13/2014, Baby M 10/16/14
My whole family's birthday are in october i want my baby to be born in october as well!! Im due 10/22 but i have a good feeling its gonna be late which even a week late will send us to november!
I have a feeling LO will be just a smidge early, but I have no real idea. As long as they're here on or before 10/31, I'm good. I do not want a November baby (for no real reason other than that's my least favorite month).
EDD is 10/17 but I've been saying 10/15 from the beginning. I was due on 4/17 and was born two days early on the 15th and I think LO will do the same. DH says 10/14 just to be ahead of me but he seems to think she will be earlier than that because I'm measuring a little ahead. He keeps asking if the doctors have changed my due date lol and I keep telling him they don't do that. I am kind of afraid she will surprise us and come a couple weeks early but I'd rather she came on time or a few days late than that early. FIL is guessing 10/19.
@starla487 How are you getting out of being induced?
I have a pretty progressive MFM. As long as LO keeps growing normally, she said there is no reason to send me to L&D before 40 weeks unless she comes on her own. However, if we find she's getting too big or I run into other complications, then I'll get induced.
I have a feeling she will come early because I'm so small and she has no room to grow anymore my due date is 10/10 my fiancé deploys the first of October so he wants her to come like 2 to 3 weeks early so he can be there but I told him she is incharge of that part
I have 10/04 stuck in my head. Original EDD was 10/14, but Dr. wants me to do an induction at 39 weeks (10/07) because of my blood clotting disorder. Also baby is measuring big (5lbs at 32 weeks) which makes me feel he might come earlier. My next weight ultrasound is in 3 weeks, so we'll see if he's still growing fast! I would prefer he came before my induction date just because I really don't want Pitocin and would love to try it all natural! Also, if he came on a weekend it would be wonderful because husband is in the Navy and doesn't get to take any time off! However I'm happy whenever he decides to come, or if we have to wait until induction. Guess we'll see! I don't really know why 10/04 is stuck in my head though! Has been for months!
