New and scared of another miscarriage

Hi everyone, 
I am new to the bump but am feeling so alone and thought this might help. I had a missed miscarriage in march -we were about 8 weeks along but baby was only measuring 6 weeks.We did get to see the heartbeat but then the next u/s the heart had stopped. I had a D&C and the doctor eventually put me on clomid because I wasn't ovulating on my own and after 2 IUI's we are pregnant again! I am 6 weeks 4 days and today baby was measuring correctly and we saw the heartbeat, but the doctor said it was a little slow (115) and so now I am scared to death that the next u/s will show baby's heart stopped again and I don't know how to manage my fear of another loss and the thought of starting over again. 

Any words of advice appreciated!

    There is a great thread of mantras stickied at the top of this board. I don't have any advice because I've never seen more then a flicker myself. Sending you lots of positive thoughts for a strong heartbeat at your next appointment.

    I believe I had an ultrasound at 6w4d and the heartbeat was around what you saw (I want to say 118 or 119). Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

    Congrats and welcome! I'm confused at what your Dr said( I'm not a medical professional) but my hb at 6 wks 2 days was 110-111...they said was perfect!

    Samuelismomma really? that makes me feel a little better -my dr said it should be 120-160.. I will try to stay positive!!

    Welcome and congratulations! The mantras are definitely worth reading and repeating to yourself. I also find taking each day as they come. I often tell myself "today I'm pregnant".

    Congratulations. It is very hard. I still struggle with it daily. Just take a deep breath and take it one day at a time. ::hugs:: hope you get to stay for 9months!

    I love the mantras - I say it often to myself ----"today I am pregnant and I love my baby and I am pregnant until somebody tells me otherwise." they have been a big help mentally and emotionally!

    Congrats! I agree that what your doctor said about the HB is confusing. I'm pretty sure that at 6 weeks a HB of at least 96 (or 100 depending on who you speak to) is what's expected and your LOs HB is well over that! I wouldn't stress about it as hard as I know that is. Try and relax and keep reminding yourself that today you are pregnant.

    Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! Just wanted to post an update: We had an ultrasound today and the heart rate is up to 150 so hoping for the best! Still nervous about another miscarriage but trying to be cautiously optomistic!
