I am having really bad stabbing/throbbing pains in my uterus.
It feels like someone is taking a letter opener and shoving it into my vagina and upward into my uterus. Weird analogy, I know, but that's the best way I can describe it.
It's ok when I'm lying down, but as soon as I stand up or even sit up, it begins to hurt again.
I've left a message at my OBGYN's nurses line and haven't heard back.
Has anyone else had these kinds of issues?

My nurse got back with me and said she thinks it's just a strange pms symptom that unfortunately goes along with having a fibroid.
They pushed my saline ultrasound into next month because of the way it fell in my cycle. I'm supposed to call though at the end of this period to see if they can work me in earlier. Fingers crossed that they can!
