FML ; Hello PP Period

Forgive me as I havent posted here much. I lurked more than anything. I was a part of the November 2012 board when my daughter was born. Now I've just had my baby boy in July.

Anyway the reason for the post was that I'm very sad that I believe my period has returned 6 weeks postpartum. Waah

I havent even had my postpartum appointment yet. Its scheduled for Monday. Bleh

So far its really light, hoping its just a fluke. Or that it stays light since I'm breastfeeding.

My first baby it didnt come back until about 4 ish months I believe.

How are you ladies doing, have you got your periods yet?

Yup stopped bleeding & one week later I have my period. It was not lighter. WTF body I'm BFing! The same thing happened after DS1, though my PP bleeding lasted longer. I had my 6 week appointment&midwife was shocked!

Totally sucks! I'm trying to determine whether I should keep the appointment if I'm heavily bleeding by then.

Oh and now I realize why I've been eating and craving chocolate and salty things. -_-

I started he mini pill at 4w PP so I totally got my period at 8w PP. I was scared to use a tampon even though I had a c section. Haha.

Just finished my first pp period and I'm 7 weeks pp. It felt like every other period except no cramping. Very weird. I'm not breastfeeding and I'm waiting on my iud.

I've started cramping and had some spotting. I do NOT miss my period

I have been bleeding since delivery (7wks 3days). I am scheduled for a D&C on Monday due to this bleeding, so I hear you!!! I'm sick of it! It would be nice to not have to worry about pads and depends and be able to wear cotton undies without fear of ruining them!

I thought I was starting because I was having red tinged wipes, but no cramping, hasnt gotten stronger, and its gone on longer than my normal periods prebaby. So now I think maybe its just baby bleeding because Ive started exercising again...

I thought I was getting mine a few days ago, but it went away after a day or two, so I think it was just breakthrough bleeding.  BFing can make you have random spotting or bleeding and irregular cycles.  If your on a progesterone-only birth control, that can cause breakthrough bleeding too.

I got my period back at 2 months postpartum last time though and I was not happy.

@iris427‌ I use tampons too, but probably wouldn't feel comfortable using then until later later. :P

Just finished my period on Wednesday and it started last Friday. Boo. Didn't miss it at all

When I got my first period PP, DS had a few days where he was really fussy while nursing. The LC told me that sometimes periods can decrease supply a bit, and as the day goes on, it can become more difficult for LO to get what they want and they can become frustrated and fussy. She suggested I nurse more often in the afternoon hours even if it didn't seem like LO was hungry. After the first couple of days everything went back to normal!

I think I started, wtf!! I was 7 weeks PP on Thursday and I believe it began Friday. I had the mirena put in on Aug 18 and had light bleeding after that. This last week the bleeding all but stopped but on Friday it was like wham!! Panty liners didn't work anymore and I am now having to use tampons. I'm breast feeding and this seems so so early to have a period. With DS 1 after having the mirena put in 7 weeks pp and BFing my period didn't return at all. I read this is "normal" but I don't like it!

I have been eating everything in sight for days and lo and behold the bitch is back today :-q
