Vitamix experts - which one?

I've been thinking about the Vitamix for a long time...just saw the Groupon for the two-speed Vitamix. Does two-speed vs. variable speed make a huge difference? Will I be happier with the variable speed? If I go variable speed what's the best choice?

Definitely variable speed.  You'll have a lot more control and be able to better make a wider variety of things.
