DS has been running a bit of a fever since last night, which means we might not be able to go for DH's family weekend getaway *gasp*! I'm praying DS's fever goes away but I'm also a teeny weeny bit happy we have to cancel plans...muahahahahaha
This may be more of a TMI but for the past few weeks regardless of how much I eat, I always feel so full. I feel like my food is at the top of my throat and... ::drumroll:: I have started burping up some of my food. It's like my digestive system is not working. It is so disgusting!! I just swallow it and keep going, never telling a soul.
I haven't taken my prenatal vitamins in like a month. You would think that I'd remember but after I ran out of the first bottle and DH picked up another for me, they were left in the medicine cabinet at home and I NEVER remember to take them!
@mommymeg143 I've been experiencing the same exact thing this week. It's awful.
My FFFC...all this newb talk leads me to confess that my first post was NOT an intro and I posted without lurking here much. I spent the first few weeks after my BFP on the 1st trimester board. It was scary.

This is me. I have no idea when I fell off the bandwagon. I did so well early on too. So ashamed of myself.

The ONLY reason I remember to take my prenatal vitamins every singe day is I allow myself a small glass of chocolate milk to wash the huge disgusting vitamin down! I never forget my chocolate milk allowance!

This would totally be me, the only reason I take them daily is because DH is like the damn medicine police and he brings them to me daily along with the vitamin D and Metformin (for my lovely PCOS) that I also have to take.
Confession for me would be I had a Jimmy John sandwich this week with a pop. Not the best, but ehhhh that's all I have to work with this week.

Ok, well maybe I have more confessions then bc I drink pop often, eat fast food like it's going out of style and don't exercise. God speed, LO : /
Yesterday I went to TGI Fridays with some colleagues for the $10 all you can eat appetizers. I called ahead of time to make sure this particular location (directly across the street from campus) was participating and they told me yes. When we got there we were told they WERENT doing them that day due to an event at the next door arena.
I got a manager, and for the first time this pregnancy, pulled the pregnancy card.
My cheesesticks were delicious and I don't feel bad at all!
I find insurance is just as confusing as taxes and choose to go with the flow for most of it, as long as I'm covered I'm good. Well I about had a mini heart attack this morning when my company sent an memo saying we were renewing our insurance policy in September not December. Right now I've met my deductible for the year and was afraid with the September renewal it started over in September. I was assured that was not the case. These are the times I feel so stupid for not knowing simple rules like that for insurance.
In your defense, while the deductible schedule for most insurance policies do follow the calendar year (yaaaaaay us), there are some that follow your enrollment date. Don't feel stupid!

We are totes twinses on this. I'm A.W.F.U.L. it's worse when I'm at work. My hours are crappy for trying to plan on taking food with you and sometimes I just want something hot that's not from the break from microwave damnit. I will say, although my habits are terrible, I have only managed to gain about 5-8lbs so far. I did give up soda until about 3 weeks ago and for whatever reason I had this strong craving for it. So now I limit myself to one can a day if I absolutely feel I need one that day. My plan is to quit soda again after this weekend.

I have another one, actually... I didn't tell my husband that his mom grabbed my belly with both hands and shook it hard to try and wake the baby (who was already up and kicking, tyvm). He may have cut her hands off.
DH's parents are heading down to Mexico (for 6+months) after the baby is born in november. So we are doing an early christmas before the born. I am so happy because this means I don't have to spend christmas day with his family and all the running around.
Also DH asked if we were still going to exchange presents or just do presents. FIL said no..well except for giving my two nephews and one SIL their plane tickets to come visit in mexico. All I could think is omg this is going to piss the other SIL off sooooooo bad lol. She'll want an equivalent gift she's not getting. muahaha should be fun.
I think we should still be doing gifts for all the kids though. Isn't that what this early chistmas is about? Or else it's just another family dinner.
DH and I moved an hour outside our city because he got a new job and I have been staying with my parents while I finish up work. This weekend DH is coming in town and my parents are heading to the cottage. I convinced my parents to leave the dog home with us so that when we go to the inlaws tomorrow for dinner we don't have to stay all night, because I need to get back and let the dog out!
I love my inlaws but I can do without a really late night at their place!
When I wake up I always have a little gas. My normal routine is to hold it in until my husband goes to start making breakfast, then I get it all out and then join him. He has no idea of this. A few days ago I thought he'd left and let it all out. He was on the floor, out of sight, rolling out his IT band. When he got up I pretended I was asleep and when I came out to join him for breakfast I made it seem like I had just woken up....
We never spoke of it, so either it worked or he is really that wonderful...
@Lilwatz... Haha, I did that all the time in the beginning. I never passed gas in front of DH until this pregnancy!! I would do it while in bed and pretend to be fast asleep!! He would say things like "whoa, honey!!" and I would be "snoozing" away!! Now, we just giggle about it when it happens. ">
My confession: My friend and colleague broke her ankle about a month ago. It was a really bad break and she had to have surgery. I've been helping her quite a bit, including driving her everywhere because she can't drive with her cast. I'm glad I can help, but it's really draining. It's hard to lift her scooter (one she kneels on and wheels, not motorized) in and out of the trunk. But here's my confession: I really, really can't stand being in her house because it smells like cats and I get cat hair all over my work clothes. I have to be there quite a bit now. FTR, I don't mind cats. I grew up with them and I had one in my twenties, but the cat pee smell is so overwhelming in her house. I feel sick whenever I'm there. It was like that before she got hurt, but I just avoided going in very often. I feel like a terrible friend, but I'm going crazy!
This may be more of an UO, but since its Friday....3D ultrasounds creep me out. Also sometimes Bean's movements creep me out. I'm super thankful for them, and freak out if I don't feel anything for a while, and its amazing to think there's something inside me, but I can't help but be startled and think of Alien every time. And since the movement makes me think of Alien, seeing the 3D image just gives me the creeps. I think its awesome if you're into it, and the technology is cool, just not for me.
@Jan1214 - Ew ew ew. I would not feel bad about not wanting to be in her house. That's just gross! The smell of cat pee is very potent and I feel like pregnancy nose must make it a million times worse :-&
I have NEVER opened a TMI Tuesday thread. Ever. There's just too much gross shit that can happen during pregnancy. If I knew about it all, I'd be sitting around dreading every leak/discharge/and bowel movement. I'll take my side effects by surprise, thanks!

I unfriended 2 different people on Facebook this week. I'm not a huge Facebook user but was really shocked by the pics they had each posted. One posted a pic of his 2ish year old daughter popping a squat in a field to pee with the caption "When Nature Calls". And the other posted a picture of her son in the tub after he had just pooped in it - literally poop floating everywhere. Am I crazy to think these are super inappropriate things to take pics of and post on the internet??!

I used to agree (and still sort of do), but I caved because my husband wanted one so bad and yeah, I am in love with the pictures and videos we got.
I forgot about mine from yesterday! I have a customer who will call me (usually mad) at any time of the day and keep calling until I answer (I was on a call once and he called 6 times in 18 minutes...I wish I was joking). He called yesterday while I was checking out at the pharmacy and left a message. I replied by emailing him telling him I saw he called, but I was in training and couldn't call him back for a couple hours. I had no training. But it felt so good...
I ate a ham and cheese sub from Jimmy John's for lunch. I know, I know everyone else eats lunch meat, but I haven't this entire pregnancy. I went with the intention of getting tuna and then all I wanted was ham and cheese. I even got my husband on board with the idea (he is a HUGE worry wort about this pregnancy). Victory tasted so good.
I bought a box of cocoa krispies on a whim this week and have eaten almost the entire in 5 days. When I had left over milk in the bottom of my bowl this morning, instead of drinking it like a normal person, I added more krispies. Then I added too many krispies so I needed to add more milk. Yup, I tricked my way into 2 bowls of cocoa krispies this morning. And both were glorious.
Ugh! What took you so long!?

DH & I took a shower together this morning (a rare attempt at reviving our sad sex life). Well, I'll confess that apparently I've reached the "piss yourself" stage. As soon as the hot water started, I started peeing uncontrollably all over DH's feet. Total buzz kill - he couldn't get out of the shower fast enough. Thanks, babies!

But on the plus side, you just reminded me to order more!
My Flame Free Confession - I know I've said I wanted and am glad I am having baby showers but as they get closer I realize I just really want people to buy stuff for LO. Mostly because my Mom just told me she invited two of my great aunts who I have seen 2 times in the 10 years since my grandmother, their sisters' death. They are both also really cheap. I don't want to see them, they can just send a card with $5. Would be totes fine with that!
