TTC 8/20

Since last weeks post was still active this week, I dated it. 

How is everything going?

I finally met with the internal surgeon. I have to have another D&C plus some fun extras to get my uteran scarring removed. The Dr told me I needed to be out of the office for at least 2 weeks and I couldn't lift more than 10lbs for a month. My kid is going to love that!

I have no idea how to handle work. I need to figure out if I will qualify for STD to the time off does not impact my year-end metrics or if I can get some kind of company exception and not have to deal with STD. I am angry that I have to go through all of this and sad that I won't be able to be 100% for my kid for so long. 

The worst part is, I would have to do this even if we were OAD. I can't leave my body in the shape it is in right now...ugh. More delays.

Thanks guys. I don't mean to make this thread about me! I will likely not post for a while until I have an update, but I am here.

Big hugs to you, yo. This fucking blows. Do you have any idea of what a TTC timeline will look like for you once this procedure is done?

I went to see my doctor today. 

He is sending me for a transvaginal ultrasound and is referring me to a great infertility specialist. I am going to continue clomid in the mean time but he thinks another course of action may be needed.

I am still here, just waiting. I will try to test again Friday morning if no AF before then. 

@Flamingemu please keep us updated! I am hoping that you can get all of the work logistics figured out and get this scheduled and out of the way.

Not really. Once the scarring is gone, then we have to see if I am actually ovulating. That will affect treatments and such. I am assuming I am out of anything until early next year.

I am sorry that you have to move on to greater interventions, but I hope they are able to help quickly.

CD29 here. Nothing exciting to report. I plan on testing in the morning, and probably every day until AF shows

I am actually relieved, if that makes sense. It's like FINALLY I will be sent to someone who will take me seriously. I feel like my OB brushed me under the rug.

I just got AF, so I guess better luck next cycle. I am off to order a thermometer, maybe that will help me know my body a little bit better.

CD14. Waiting to O. We had sex every day for the last week or so. This better gets us a baby, because I am fucking tired.

Wishing all of you the best. 

 Constantly thinking about you @Flamingemu‌. I had issues that eventually resulted in the removal of an ovary. I know the doctor games are no fun, especially dealing with extended periods of leave. Continued positive thoughts.
