It was such a success last week that I'm doing it again.
Ladies, please share the good stuff that's going on in your lives this week. We at PGaL have so much to worry about, so let's get positive and lift each other's spirits!
I'm starting to feel like I have more energy FINALLY ... this is either the 2T "energy burst" or my iron supplements are starting to fix my anemia. Either way, it meant super duper house cleaning this weekend which was well overdue, and starting my registry. I'm feeling like a nesting mama!
1. My mom is throwing me a shower on Saturday. I'm really excited to see everything she has planned for us and to see all of our friends.
2. We're finally getting things ready and I'm relaxing a bit. We still need A LOT, but I can see that we're going to be ready for her arrival when the time comes.
3. After living in our new house for nearly two months, I am thisclose to having everything unpacked, organized, and decorated(ish). It seemed like an impossible task to do with zero energy, but now it's almost done!!
I've been feeling baby movement for a while, but in the last couple days, it's becoming a lot more frequent and consistent. Very cool!
I called MIL to tell her about our Mat21 results since DH didn't want to do it. I *think* for the first time ever, she realized I'm actually the one who pushes for communicating with them, not DH (she has said in the past I "stole" him, and thinks I want DH to avoid his family), and DH is often reluctant to call home even if it's with good news. This is kind of a breakthrough for her.
Not that I expect it to last.
Good MIL news is still good MIL news even if it doesn't last long.
I survived last night alone with little E...DH is out of town, so I had all the night feedings. She was particularly out of sorts since she had her two-month shots earlier in the day! Hopefully I will make it through tonight just as well!
I'm getting to the point where I can't sleep on my stomach all night, which is actually making me feel pregnant vs. just fat. It's the little things that are helping me along!
DH and I finally agreed on fabric for little E's nursery and my MIL will be starting on the curtains and whatever else she whips up soon! I'm hoping that when we get around to the minion's nursery we have an easier time agreeing on things...if we have a boy, it will be much easier for the DH!
@Hawkward - YAY for half baked!! And good luck with the MIL! Guys are so uncommunicative and I think women get the short end of the stick. My MIL just cuts my DH out of the loop because she knows I will actually respond! (Then DH gets a little whiny..."why didn't she call me?") It's quite funny really!
@classicstar28 - have fun at the shower and congrats on being almost done with moving! Done in two months is great, especially with being prego!!
Healthy baby after a/s so that is a blessing. I can feel the baby move all the time now. Sunday marked us 5 months and hubby was able to feel our little girl move for the first time.
Found out that my brother and SIL are giving us my nieces crib, it's gorgeous and I'm so excited and thankful for their gift.
PS - @ToriGirl2014 thank you for starting this thread again! It was such a great reminder for all of us last week to think about the positives that we are grateful for. I'm glad it's becoming a regular thread!
Glad to do it. It makes me feel so much better to see all the good things going on in your lives!
I found the perfect linens for our guest room (for grandma!!) at macys half off! They are fabulous and a great price!!! I love finding what I want and not paying full price!!

Well I'm grateful I'm not so tired now:) I actually shampooed the carpet in my house. My mom had knee replaced been doing a lot of running around. I have been able to keep up! Hahaha I am meeting a friend for lunch next week beyond excited:) feeling lo move more especially at night laying down ! So many wonderful ladies here are 1/2 baked already! Wow!
PgAL related positivity: Right now, all my tests look good (aside from TSH) and I'm no longer bleeding. I'm going to smile and try to be optimistic until my u/s on Monday, at which we should hear a heartbeat.
NonPgAL positivity: DH has **almost** finished the backyard deck, which is very exciting for a number of reasons. First of all, we'll have a deck!! But then I'll also have my hubby back helping me...and perhaps working on some other projects in the house. ;-) I'm totally impressed that he's built the entire thing himself!

I met with a new MW practice and I loved them! I was really nervous because our RE's office has been so amazing and accommodating with my PGAL crazy. My MW said she would see me every week if I need that reassurance, I'm really excited to have found them!
My 9 yr old daughter made a drawing of me, her and the baby, and ladies I'm just hormonal I've got all of my symptoms back, and this is crazy but feeling like crap actually eases my mind a LOT :P
Had a great "early" appt with my OB yesterday. I had talked with them Monday because I was feeling very panicky. They got me in yesterday and did a quick u/s; healthy baby measuring 4 days ahead with a great heartbeat!
