What are you using to protect LO's rock n play cover from blowouts?

Re: rock n play blowouts

  • No, but seriously this hasn't been a problem for us.

  • We haven't had this issue yet either.  But is the RnP washable?  I just pulled apart the swing to wash it after LO threw up in it.  I assume Fisher Price would have made it washable, but I haven't investigated.

  • All of my rock and plays allow you to take the cover off to wash it. If blowouts are consistently a problem though then I may size up the diaper just to be safe.

  • I've only had one blowout, but I have an old towel in the RNP to catch any potential puke.

  • DD has only had two. Both of which only leaked onto the cover a small amount. Thankfully it's happened during the day so it's not a PITA to throw it in the wash. Just wondering if anyone is using anything to avoid having to throw it in the wash.
  • I've had 2 blowouts and lots of spit up, it isn't a big deal to throw in the wash.

  • We only had one so far but sometimes I put a receiving blanket if I remember.
  • I keep a burp cloth in ours just as a precaution against pee leaks.

We keep one of those waterproof changing pad liners in our cradle and the bassinet in our PNP.

Of course, our only blow outs have happened in the car seat... Ugh!
