percentile calculators

Does anyone have a good chart they like for determining the percentile their child is in?  The one from baby center always gives an answer like between 50th and 75th....seems kind of broad.  Also I could have sworn the doctor said her length is in the 90th, but the charts I've found says 50-75.

I've been using the one in the Baby Connect app, but you'd need to have the app :-/ Our pedi uses the WHO charts, but you can choose either one in the app.

It depends on which chart you use.  CDC or WHO.
Give me your baby's stats and I'll look up for you ;)
5 months, weight is 15.6, length is 26 inches.  Thanks!

That's what I use too, if I forget to ask the pedi before I leave.

  • I use this one:
    https://www.childgrowthcalculator.com/#grafica_longitud
I EBF and this is based on WHO which my doc also uses. (My LO is ~95% height and ~10% weight, so mines pretty accurate.
It also makes a difference whether you calculate LO's age in weeks or months. (Partial months work too)

For the info you gave above:
    Girl - 5 months, 15.6 (lbs I assume), 26 inches long - says 84.1% height, 65.5% weight.
Most doctors give the range because there's usually no concern.
** if your LO is 5 months and a week at measurement time it will make a difference on %ile.
