UPDATE: My appointment with Dr. KK is just days away. EEEKS!! I've been waiting for this day for months, so of course I'm excited that it's finally here. But I'm also starting to get nervous. What will she find? Will she offer me any hope? How do I feel about that? It's complicated... I'm doing my best not to put the cart before the horse. Just take it one step at a time, and anytime I catch myself thinking of the 'what ifs' I shut it down. No use driving myself crazy!

IVF coming up so soon! Getting excited! However, I had a meltdown yesterday when I arrived at the pharmacy only to find out it had closed 5 minutes before my arrival. I only have enough meds left for today and tomorrow, so now I have to scramble to go again after work today and somehow also have the time to make dinner. Ugh!! Sometimes this process is so annoying

I am on the 2WW, CD18 4dpiui on 200mg progesterone 2x a day and just hanging on to some hope. I have been nominated to do the ALS ice water bucket challenge but I'm afraid of catching pneumonia... still debating this challenge.

Hi ladies! Sounds like some of you are still awaiting definite answers on this try--good luck! And some of you are waiting for next steps.

I'm in the middle of my first IUI. After some reminders from this board (thank you, iPutKetchupOnKetchup!)--I reminded my doctor's office to schedule me for an HSG last week. But, I was lucky--the back-and-forth re: scheduling ended up being the most difficult part of it for me. Completely painless and barely uncomfortable. (The radiologist mentioned that the clinic uses a "gentler" type of HSG method--and he was probably one of the most sympathetic-type doctors around, too.) 

Now just waiting for my u/s on Thursday…. Hoping it'll show a good response, and we'll proceed with IUI#1 at the end of the week. Also, nervous about what DH's post-wash numbers will turn out to be.

Anyways, thanks for letting me update and get some things off my chest. Good luck to everyone

CD1 was Saturday after more than a year of no AF. Hoping the Provera and my small amount of weight loss can kick start some more normal cycles. ER consultation is next week, and I'm a bit nervous. My concern is that they won't take me seriously as I'm so overweight, but I really really hope they do and we can start making a plan since I'M taking this so seriously. Yuck. Plus side is, we have to go into Boston for the appointment, and my DH is going to come, so hopefully we can get some lunch and go for a nice walk before.

Heya ladies! Good luck to those in the TWW and hugs for those who need them! I am over here CD4 AF started on her own this natural cycle *squee* so I am on day 2 Femara (SOOO many less side effects than Clomid so far!) I go in next tues (CD12) for mid cycle U/S then if everything is good I will trigger I am so excited for this Cycle Getting out the big guns!

I'm currently 2dpiui #4. I keep catching myself being more hopeful than usual that this will work, then reminding myself that nothing has worked yet so I shouldn't get my hopes up! I had 3 - 4 mature follicles, and DH's count was 77 million. More follies and more swimmers has created some optimism!

DH came with me to the appt and I think that really made all the difference as well. We spent the entire day together, unlike the usual IUI during a work day.

We had our IVF class today!  CD1 should be about a week from now - and I'm praying that my labs will be normal so we can start.  The nurse told me to keep having talks with my ovaries so they will cooperate. 

She went over all the injections - Menopur & Ganirelix.  I'll also be on Follistim but we already know how to do that one.  I received my calendar (which is just an estimate).  But - I'm  bummed because I asked what the chances are that my RE will do the retrieval or transfer.  She said he's not in the office on Tuesdays - and if it's a weekend it would be the on-call doctor.  She said all the doctors there are amazing (what else would she say though..).  Then she said that he's leaving to go on a mission trip to Africa on 9/5 - which is right around when my retrieval would be - sad.  Which the nurse understood "It's hard to have another doctor do that when you're so used to him."  I'm also supposed to start a baby aspirin.  And she listed a bunch of other drugs that will be ordered throughout this process that was a little overwhelming - but one day at a time.

I am on CD 45 ("oh joy" for long cycles).  I just got my blood drawn for the test my RE is doing to rule out Cushing's Disease.  I will be getting those results in a couple days, but they highly doubt I have it.  This is FINALLY the LAST diagnostic test I have to do before starting treatments.

I'm sad to say that I've decided to bench myself before even starting treatments because I'm starting my 10 month internship on September 2nd.  I decided it'd be smart to just wait until the end of September/beginning of October to start treatment just in case my body decides to cooperate with the first round of Metformin and Letrozole w/ trigger & TI.  It wouldn't be a good idea to have to take a leave with only one month of this internship left.  So the waiting continues....  my only question now is do I bring on AF with Prometrium or just wait to do that until right before I do treatments.  There is an incredibly little chance of it coming on its own.

Hi ya'll! BFN last cycle and now benched for a month. I changed OB's to one who works with a RE and they wanted to redo my labs and some additional others. Good news is got my results today and starting new meds so hopefully they help. Plan is for Clomid next month.

Heyo!  GL to everyone in the 2ww and hugs for all who need them.

Went in for mid-cycle u/s today and found out I have 5 growing follicles.  They have me coming back in on Wednesday to check again and see if all 5 matured.  Assuming they don't all mature (causing me to get cancelled) I will trigger Wednesday night and do IUI #3 on Friday.

ETA: Second u/s showed only 2 mature follies so IUI 3 is still a go.

Hello Everyone....I'm in the TWW 3DPO. We did TI this time with clomid and trigger and I already have a bad feeling because...TMI coming up.....I think I put TOO MUCH Preseed up my vag because after my DH was done all this liquid came out....I hope to the sun some of the sperm were able to stay near my cervix. 

Went in for an ultrasound Saturday to confirm ovulation and 2 out of my 4 follies ovulated. Trying to figure out why the trigger shot wouldn't force ALL mature follies to ovulate.

@Je11yBean85 Yeah, it's certainly not good. Apparently endocrinologists take it much more seriously than PCPs. Glad I caught it when I did (finally)! I thought I was going to have a crraazzyyy period once it was induced, but it seems pretty normal.

I am currently 5dpo (per my bbt) for the first time in 18 months and have BW on Thursday to confirm ovulation. I'm kind of down though. I just have this feeling it's not going to be our month.

7dpiui, numbers were really low, so not hopeful about this one. Moving on to IVF-ICSI. DH has urology appt next week, I'll have my hyteroscopy in 2 weeks. Hopefully we can start next cycle.

15dpiui (probably 14dpo) for IUI #5.

My beta is this morning, but I'm not feeling hopeful at all.  I've had cramps and spotting. Depression has really sapped any optimism.

This is my final IUI.  We will likely be moving to IVF if this cycle doesn't work out.  I am torn over taking a break before then.  On one hand, I could use a break, but on the other, I just want to get something to happen already!

Hi y'all. I had my appt yesterday with Dr. KK. Short version is I have blood flow issues with my ute (ironically, the ovaries are fine.... Wth?!). I'll get a full Dx at my follow up appt on Sept 29th. More info in my blog (link in siggy, sorry no clicky, I'm mobile!)

Hi everyone, just had another appt with the RE I stared metformin and provera ( sorry if I spelled them wrong, to lazy to look at the bottles for the correct spelling) and will be starting my letrozole on my next cycle. That's all the changes for now.
