"Quiet Book" rec?

We'll be road tripping soon & thought this might be a good idea for DD. The ones on amazon don't have great reviews & they are like $25, which seems like a lot to me.

Where did you get yours?

Making one myself is not an option right now, so don't even think it, lol!

HOnestly, $25 is a steal if you want a 'real' one. You can look at etsy too, but they're at least $50 I think. They're all homemade.

Damn, ok, I didn't realize that was the going rate since this is the first time I'm looking into them. I guess I'll suck it up & get the Amazon one. thanks!

It's a soft book where each page has a different activity, like tying laces, buttons, zippers, textures, etc.

Besides the road trip, the kids are in a church wedding the day before we leave, so I'm super nervous about her behaving & am hoping the book will keep her occupied. 

There's one "book" that's all stroller-type buckles. She'd be in heaven with one!

MIL revamped the one she made for DH when he was a toddler. It is so cute. The ones like it on ETSY go for $100+. $25 is a good deal if you think the pages it has will keep her entertained.

Which one on amazon are you looking at? Colby got one off amazon for Christmas last year. It entertains them but has a lot of loose pieces that I wouldn't recommend for a car ride.

Oh man, those pages are so cute.  I love the mr potato head, the veggie garden, and the matching socks from the dryer pages. 

We got the red "my quiet book" that comes up on amazon as a hand-me-down, so I won't be making my own.

We have this one, as well as another. The other is blue, but the same thing pretty much. I like the above book better because all the pieces are tethered to to the pages. We've lost some from the blue book, which has all the pieces loose.
