HI all!
Sorry the check-in is late today - busy first day not working as it turned out! BIG THANKS to @daydreamer34254 for taking over the check-in starting next week. (PM me your email address lady!).

AFM things are in good shape! I'm 38w on Wednesday and feeling pretty good. People keep asking if I'm miserable (it's been hot, esp. for Seattle); or if I'm feeling "done" being pregnant but overall, the answer is no. I'm pretty content, no big physical challenges - I'm still exercising and doing yoga, etc. So, I'm happy to let baby cook ideally the last two weeks. But I will say it freaks me out to say I'm due in 2 weeks!!!!!!

QOTW: We always did St. Nick's Day stockings on Dec. 6th and I loved it as a kid. It was a Christmas teaser!! I plan to do that with our LO!

Check-in: We've had no Braxton Hicks this week! In fact it's been a very quiet week down on the baby front, but we did go for an ultrasound on wednesday. She's measuring 7lbs already! We did finally finish the nursery yesterday too. The girls all go back to school in two weeks, and we're trying to get ready for that too. Ours is a very busy house!

QOTW: My dad and I used to go to the furthest north of the country every year over midsummer when it never got any darker at all really during the night and go ice fishing at midnight. It's something we do with our girls as well.

Check in: We are officially past V day! It was Sunday for us. This week I'm going to attempt to get DH's clothes out of the nursery, the crib ordered, the bedding ordered, and start to empty the room out so we can turn it from spare bedroom into nursery. SO exciting! 

QOTW: As a child, we used to spend all Christmas Day in our pajamas playing with whatever we got as gifts and watching a Star Wars marathon (TNT or USA used to show Episodes IV, V, and VI). AWESOME way to spend Christmas!

AFM: We are done with our last cycle. We got 7 embies to freeze! As of right now, we have no idea what the plan for them is but I'm trying to let that go for now.

EAIF Update:

I am painting Squirt's room today and we are going to put the crib and shelving from IKEA together this week in the evenings. So excited to see the room take shape.

We had an appointment last week and Squirt's hb is always steady between 149-153. So consistent!

We are almost to third tri!

2MamazInSeattle You and your DW are going to meet your baby girl any day now.  I'm so excited for you!! 

AFM: My baseline is a week from Thursday.  I'm a bit anxious, but trying to stay calm as I can.  I need AF to show her ugly face.  My NP is not worried that she hasn't arrived yet, but  I'm worried my lining will be too thick to start stims.  I guess only time will tell. 

QOTW:  My favorite non-holiday tradition as a kid and I hope to someday be able to do this as a parent was on Friday nights we spent the evening watching movies and ate pizza.

SAIF Check-in: Things are going great with both babies at home. I've been very blessed that they are both healthy, easy babies. They only fuss when hungry or gassy and even then they're not super fussy. I keep thinking about my remaining 2 embryos and wanting to be PG again. I want to have a longer PG, shot at a natural birth, and the chance to try BFing again. However, I know I need to wait till these LOs are older to make that decision. lol QOTW: My fav family tradition is baking Christmas goodies with my Grandmother.

I am 14 weeks today and doing pretty good other than my morning sickness came back last week and that hasn't been fun. I don't see my mfm and ob for another two weeks.  My IF brain has been in a bit of overdrive this week but I am trying to relax and just enjoy this time. 

QOTW:  We had a pizza/game night atleast once a week growing up and I lived for that night!  I plan on doing that with my boys!

AFM: We had our consult with the new RE last week and she is awesome. She has a great plan for us cycling with my eggs and DH's sperm one last time. We are also doing more testing with the RE (DQ alpha match, karyotyping, and SCSA for DH's swimmers) and still have our immune testing with Dr. KK (in 9 days!). Unless something shows up in these tests, we will probably stick to one last OE cycle. I'm excited and incredibly nervous.

I guess my question is, should I still check in since we are no longer TPR? I will definitely still lurk for updates on everyone and will definitely be rooting everyone on!

QOTW: My parents have a big celebration for Christmas. We get together Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, and have a big Christmas dinner. I can't wait to share these traditions with our children!

update: I had my phone consult with SIRM. The only test my RE didnt do is the natural killer cell activity array. He ordered this for me, the kit should arrive in the mail later this week. I'll overnight the sample next week. Should get a call with the results in 2 weeks.

He said if it was normal, he wouldn't do anything differently than my current RE would do (we are already adding Lovenox this cycle)...

So I guess the labs will speak for themselves and will decide where we cycle next, since my current RE is not willing to let the consult co-manage the cycle.

I'm thinking if we cycle with our current RE, it will be in September. If we go with SIRM, most likely in October.

I'm feeling better knowing we will know everything we are up against. If it's normal, we have some reassurance that we are doing the right thing. If it's not normal, maybe we can treat it.

Qotw : we have lots of fun traditions. Most of them are around the holidays..

My husband and I open our stockings alone on Xmas Eve with champagne.

My sisters and I have a 'sister day' for each of our birthdays and the birthday girl picks the activity (we have done kayaking, gone out for Mexican, ect.)

My dad celebrates my 'birthday month' and sends me gifts in the mail and gives me gifts throughout the whole month! (I know... I'm spoiled)

I'm big into traditions, they make the best memories-

Hi Girls, I love reading all of your updates

We have a potential match and are just waiting for our donor to get her period so she can have her baselines done again. That should be within two weeks, and then she'll go on the pill while we wait for results and take care of any business. Assuming all is good, then we will be cycling in mid-September. Which is TOTALLY CRAZY!! We've been sitting on the bench since our last cycle failed in April. We are so ready to get this going! 

We are also within two weeks of my Dr. K.wak-Kim appointment. I'm curious to see what she finds, but don't think that her results will steer us away from doing our DEgg cycle. On the slim chance that she can improve my egg quality... I just don't care to wait any longer! And I also don't believe that there is any hope for my ovaries, but I have no scientific reason to think that... other than 2+ years of BFNs including 6 IUIs and 3 IVFs. 

QOTW: Family traditions from growing up.... not really, which is sad! I hope that DH & I can create some for our own family. We do have a tradition of looking at our wedding album on our wedding anniversary every year. I know that's a simple one, but I love that we do that

My quick check in...had my c section yesterday. Grace Annabeth was born at 9:14 am weighing 6lbs 3ounces and 20 inches. We are over the moon in love with her.

Hi everyone.  Sorry I'm not going to make individual call out tonight but I'm under the weather.  I've slowly read everyone's posts though.  Lots to congratulate and hugs to everyone who needs them.  I had a colonoscopy today so this is the first chance I've had to check-in.  For future reference, ONLY do a gatorade prep for one of these!!! Don't ask, don't tell just make them give you that prep lol

 

On the IF front, we are still waiting on the results of our EFT.  I've been so busy that I don't even know what week we are in of waiting.  I'm still on the Nuvaring and just trucking along.  Only BC I can't complain about lol

QOTW: The only family tradition I recall growing up and still occurs is Christmas morning we have hot cinnamon rolls while waiting for my father to make us a big breakfast!  It's always so good and he only does it occasionally so it's special.  We have started to make our own tradition right after Thanksgiving of going to Frankenmuth on Friday morning with my in laws.  We've done it for 2 or 3 years now and it's a lot of fun.
