I always feel awkward doing these and normally would wait until I had a post to make and shove in a "btw - I'm Barb..." intro at the end.
But I'm settling in here, you are all a great group and I'm getting a real benefit from just reading so I figured I should just say hi... "Hi!"

(took me several days to find the smiley button...)My kids are older than yours - DD is 9 and DS is 7, but I'm new to the working mom thing and I'd been struggling with just getting my head round the changes, especially during the summer holiday and the parenting forum I used to go to has disappeared from the internet. So I googled - you guys won!
Right, this is me - Barb and as you can guess from the name big into The Hobbit and LOTR, English emigrated to Canada when DD was one, so if my language is weird that's why )
