Have any STM's experienced PGP in prior pregnancies or have any of you ladies experienced this so far during this pregnancy? I did some googling and for some reason most of the links I'm finding are UK or Australian websites. I have obviously self diagnosed this (as you do) - but I'm pretty sure that's what I have going on. No worries, I will call my midwife tomorrow to figure it all out, but in the mean time I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it?
For me the pain is in my lower back on one side, hurts to stand on one foot while getting changed, to roll over in bed, to climb stairs, and to get out of the car (which is literally the exact same list that I found on the interwebs). Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Holy crap yes. I called my ob and told the nurse it felt like I had pulled my vagina. She laughed. I cried. Sometimes it feels like my pelvis bone is grinding against itself. I'm not looking forward to when LO gets bigger and his head is down low!
Oh no!!! Did your OB give you any advice for dealing with it? I've been reading that pregnancy maternity support belts can be helpful.
I see my chiropractor every month, and that has helped my pain. It hasn't helped my round ligament pains, but it did completely eliminate my pelvic girdle pain. Yes, you can safely see a chiro while pregnant just make sure they have experience with pregnancy.
I go once a month. A few of them recommend more often, but if you listen to your body you will know when to go. I will be going twice a month in my last trimester when there is more baby.

It really made a huge difference for me during my last pregnancy.
