Had my NT scan today (12w5d)... and OMG, Dolce is so damn adorable. He was just
moving and kicking, and showing off for the camera. I couldnt take it. He
wouldnt turn the right way to get a good angle for NT measurements, so the nurse
stepped out so I could change clothes so they could attempt transvag US. But
she decided to try again abdominal first, and the baby disappeared. He thought
it would be a good idea to ball up and tuck behind my bladder. She seriously
couldnt find him. Then we went to the transvag, and his head was too high up in
my uterus to get good measurements that way. They had me tilted on the bed
almost completely upside down, they shook and poked my belly, trying to get him
to move. Finally after 3 ultrasound attempts, and changing different wands, and
OVER an hour. They finally got all the measurements needed.
NT was a little thick
so we opted for the Harmony test, which I just got finished doing. (not overly
concerned at the moment)
QOTW:
I think I fell into the category of Youneek names... DH and I are happy, but Im not sure how they will be received, so Im opting to keep them a secret until later.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Waited a long time, tried a lot of stuff, science made me a mom.

Hello ladies, I hope all is doing well, and hugs to those who need them. I just passed vday so I am over the moon happy knowing I hit this major milestone. Feeling pretty good and I know once football season is here the time will fly! I lurk often and am always thinking and praying for all of you.
qotw: we have our name and everyone knows it. Her name is Elizabeth Victoria aka Ellie. We had this name picked before we were married also, unfortunately Ellie has gained a lot of popularity lately. Oh well.
I am now in the 2nd trimester - yay (14w, 5d)! Starting to feel better slowly - had my first (and only so far) great day on Monday, but hoping that there are more just around the corner.
Next OB appointment is Monday the 4th. And we give our families the green light to tell extended family after that.
QOTW: We started a list of names over 3 years ago - not realizing how long it would take. We have worked on it on and off over the years. I think we have a girl's name and have a narrowed down list of boy's names (team Green as of now - I want to be surprised, DH wants to know but can't keep a secret). We will not share the name until the baby is born - just in case we change our minds - or if a close friend ends up using the same name we may change at the last minute.
Hope you are all doing well and hope to see you all on PAIF soon!

I'm at 9 weeks, everything is still measuring as should, the Dr tells me he's surprised I'm not feeling sick or moody (still on those darn PIO) because I'm carrying 2 but I feel great, just a little tired sometimes. Can't wait to get off the PIO in 2 weeks, my backside is super sore and full of knots. I haven't told friends/family (just my parents) yet so I haven't had a need to discuss names but I won't mind sharing once I find out sex
Hi everyone! I'm 22w1d today. I had my A/S on Monday (it was delayed because we were on vacation last week) and he looked great! He's very wiggly. It's amazing to me that I can't feel all that movement but I have definitely felt a lot of punches/kicks. He's got really long legs just like DH and I do. I've got more energy back and can stay up to my old bedtime of 10:00 again. The last week heartburn/indigestion has gotten worse. By the mid-afternoon I'm usually painfully burping again. I probably need to start taking the second dose of Zantac earlier in the day.
QOTW: We have a name picked out. I still hesitate to tell people in real life, but DH has told people and we told my mom and she's told a bunch of people. We picked up a personalized Christmas ornament for baby while we were on vacation so we think we're pretty set on the name. ;-)
TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38 Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.
Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!
I'm 39w3d and can go any time now...maybe...but probably not. I have an
induction scheduled for 41w...so, one way or another, I should have an
outside baby in less than two weeks! I still can't believe it - it
doesn't feel real.
I'm always lurking and thinking about you ladies.
QOTW: We have names picked out - after people in our ancestry as is the Jewish tradition - also, we're not telling ANYONE until the baby is born as part of that tradition. Both our male name and our female names relate to a biblical story about overcoming infertility. Ironically, we picked out the first names before we were married and before we had any idea how much we would be able to relate to the story.
If the bible serves me right, I'm guessing that if your baby is a girl, she will share my name Although, there are a few that overcame infertility- so maybe I'm wrong!
I'm so excited for you! G-dwilling things work out for us, we will also not be sharing our names. I'm guessing you didn't have a baby shower... are you going to do a meet the baby?

Hi ladies. Sending lots and love and hugs to all of you! I had a very busy week. Wednesday we had our 2nd ultrasound and heard baby's heartbeat. It was amazing. I had my first pregnancy appointment with the reproductive immunologist today. It was a very thorough ultrasound. Lots of time to look and see the little embryo. So much changed in just 2 days. We even got a 3d view. QOTW: dh is already on my case to pick a girls name. I know it will be a sore topic so I'm hoping I can avoid the conversation until we know the gender. We still have a while for that.
