Ear infections

Anyone else's LOs have frequent ear infections? We are on #3 in like 5 months, and we are all miserable. DH and I are exhausted, and obviously LO is sick of being sick. He's on another round of antibiotics, so hopefully he'll be feeling better by tomorrow.

Oaklee has only had one but it was rough. He was up every hour at night for 4 days. I hope your LO feels better soon! It's hard when they don't feel good

Yep. We have had 2 in a month. I'm suspecting he may have another one. His 9 month appt is on Friday and I'm sure if he's got another one we'll be sent to a specialist to consider tubes.

Sleep is a fucking nightmare. I'm so exhausted and I feel so sorry for DS being uncomfortable all the time!

DH is home with him today and if sounds like he is just getting worse. I'm very concerned.

We had 3 in 2 months...it has noy been fun. The most recent one she also had roseola, 104.5 fever and a tooth come through all the same weekend. Another one of the ear infections was accompanied with double pink eye. Oi! I was worried at thepedi would talk about tubes but she says that DD is fine! GL!

We just got our first yesterday too. it sucks.

Same here. The antibiotics made a huge difference really quickly, though.

I haven't had this firsthand with my LO, but one of the girls I used to nanny had frequent ear infections. She finally got tubes in both ears, and it was night and day.

We have had 1 that was hard to shake.  He had to take two rounds of antibiotic.  Our pedi said that once they have 7-8 a year then they will start looking to see if tubes are needed.

We've had 6 and are getting tubes.

Eta: first one was at 4 mos so we've had 6 in 5 mos
