Update on my Dad

First and foremost, thank you all for the T&Ps for his heart surgery. He came out of it very well. He came home yesterday and says he feels good. No driving for a month so I will be helping my mom out with him.

The other thing that had come up, that I promised to fill you in on when I had a chance, is I have given my resignation at my job. My last day is Aug 20th. My mom is our childcare provider and she will be unable to do this for awhile. She also needs to have her hip repaved, so while I am not working we are going to push her to get it done. DH and I figured out the cost of childcare for 4 and it just didn't make sense for me to work. I am excited but also really nervous.

I must have missed an earlier post about your dad! How scary but I'm so happy to hear he is doing well after his surgery.

I think it's exciting that you'll be a SAHM mom soon!

Congratulats on becoming a SAHM! This is a big change, I am sure you will enjoy being with kids.

I am thinking of making the plunge and leave my job too so you might be an inspiration for me
