I'm back - need update on which boards to use?

Hi Ladies,

I used to post and read a lot here on 3T last summer and fall as we went through IUI & IVF. I took a break after IVF failed and never really got back on the horse. Now, we are going for IVF#2 in late August/Sept and I want to get reconnected with other wonderful knowledgeable ladies here, but it seems like some of the boards are gone? Maybe I'm missing something. I'm sure there was one specifically for IVF. Or were those just weekly updates? Can anyone help me out? 

In case my siggy doesn't show up (it's been many months, so maybe they get deleted or something) we have been TTC for over 4 years (as of Apr 2010). Diagnosed with unexplained IF. Hubby's numbers are great and I've had every test known to man but everything is good. I've had 2 failed IUIs and 1 failed IVF, plus a handful of medicated cycles that were pointless. I'm big into natural health and I love my TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Practitioner, who does acupuncture, dietary recommendations, and Chinese herbs. I realize not everyone is into this, so I don't preach, but I do enjoy discussing it with those who are interested. Personally, I'm a Social Worker who works with families who have children with Autism. I love to bake and craft and generally make messes. We also have a 5 yr old fur baby named Chili who I love way too much.

I look forward to any directions you can point me in to find the right group for me! TIA!

*unexplained infertility* 

Regularly access alternative medicine to supplement a lack of resources in our geographical area.
  • Three rounds of clomid (50mg days 3-7) were useless.
  • IUI#1 w/clomid & HCG in May 2013, BFN.
  • IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
  • IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
  • IVF#1 - Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
  • IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.

Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .

Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October

    IUI #1 on 7/3/14 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (44 million sperm, 1 dominant follie) = BFN
    IUI #2: on 7/28/14 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (23 million sperm, 2 dominant follies) = BFN

    IUI #3 on 8/22/2014 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (53 million sperm, 2 dominant follies)= BFP MMC @ 7weeks

    Aug 2013 - SA: Counts & Motility = great, Morph = 1%; RE didn't seem too concerned

    Me: 26
    Jan. 2014 - Blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = high & AMH = low (0.73)
    Feb. 6, 2014 - Repeat blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = normal & AMH = low (0.9)
    Feb.  20, 2014 - First appointment with RE
    Feb. 24, 2014 - HSG scheduled;  DX:  one tube definitely open & one tube could be blocked
    Mar. 7, 2014 - CD 21 Blood work for Progesterone; DX:  Progesterone level at 5.2; shows I ovulated but was low
    Mar. 28, 2014 - Laparoscopy; DX:  Tubes open.  Found some endometriosis and had that removed.
     
    History:
    Started TTC:  June 2012
    June 2012 - March 2013:  When it Happens/it happens method = BFN
    March 2013:  Started using Fertility Friend
    Cycles 1 - 15 with Fertility Friend = BFN
    Cycle 16 - Benched due to Laparoscopy
    Cycle 17 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 18 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 19 - Natural Cycle = BFN
     

    Current Cycle:
    Cycle 20 = Natural Cycle

    Thanks everyone! Nice to see some familiar names, but also nice to know some have moved on. I think it's coming back to me now - I used the Infertility board but was in a check-in group for IVF, so I must have thought it was it's own board. I appreciate the support and hopefully can do more giving than taking while I'm here!
