I posted a little while ago about how when I went in for a recent hysteroscopy at my RE's office, and he said he saw tissue in my uterus that would need to be removed. (He also found an endometrioma on one of my ovaries, which he wanted to leave alone). During the D&C, my doc said something about the tissue in my ute being leftover from my D&C on May 1. Now I just got the call from my insurance company for pre-authorization for the surgery to remove the tissue, and they described the procedure as "lysis of adhesions." From what I understand, adhesions=scar tissue.
Has anybody else here had surgery to have adhesions removed who is willing to share their experience?
I don't have any experience but wanted to give you some big (((hugs))). I know that term looks super scary but it also seems like there is a really wide range in seriousness when it comes to adhesions. I'm hoping yours is only a minor issue and that your doctor can take care of everything.
