favorite summer treat to bring

Looking for a quick and easy idea of something to bring to a cookout that has kids and adults. Theres a million ideas on Pintrest but thought I would ask some busy moms about something that is a hit. Can be dessert, appetizer, snack etc.

My kids and I are huge fans of just plain old watermelon. We also like to grill fresh summer corn. Just wrap it in in aluminum foil with some butter, salt and dill- delicious!

    Some of my go-to recipes:

Corn Dip (w/ tortilla chips... soooo yummy! & easy!)

    Ham & Dill Pickle Appetizer

    "Crack" Potatoes... soo good

    FRUIT SALAD
Ingredients: 2 large cans chunk pineapple (undrained), 2 small cans mandarin oranges (drained), 1 bananas, 1 apple, 1/2 cup cherries, 1 small box instant vanilla pudding

    PEANUT BUTTER PIE
Ingredients: 1 graham cracker crust, 4 oz. cream cheese, 1 cup confectioners sugar, 8 oz. Cool Whip, 1/3 cup peanut butter

Mix cream cheese and peanut butter. Add confectioners sugar. Mix well. Add Cool Whip and pour into crust. Freeze until ready to serve.

    PISTACHIO SALAD
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 medium can crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
1 pkg. instant pistachio or vanilla pudding (3 oz.)
Stir all together. Use the pudding last. Leave in refrigerator for a few minutes before serving. (I also add chopped pecans.)

I was just going to recommend watermelon, but I see someone beat me to it.  Stick it in the freezer too.  It won't freeze all the way, but it makes it nice and cool.  Kids love that.
